[ QUOTE ]
No disrespect Newhizzle, but you let some troll you barely know in your room and let her play unsupervised on your Stars account, you get what you deserve. Period. She sounds like she always does, a manipulative tramp. But you sound like a whiney bitch. That's worse. In her own distorted way, she feels she made it up to you by giving you a hand job. I think the only reason you are bent about the $30K is she did not "become your gal". She rejected you, you got pissed, and the $30K became an issue. I'd take the $8K immediately and be thankful the handjob only cost you $22K. Quit sounding like a jilted sap. You want a fine looking chick with a good body? Get into shape and quit looking like a pimply faced X-box slob. Or develop a multi million dollar site like DS. [/ QUOTE ] QFT. I've been there, man. You don't even need to get in shape. Girls like Brandi want to be abused. If you want devotion from them (after a short while you really don't), you have to be a lot less nice. |

newhizzle,
serious q here. "i sold the debt of someone who owed me 265k for 120k because i cared about the money and hes a friend of mine, so i wanted to do a favor for him" How is selling the debt a favor to him? Did you sell it to someone who agreed to collect less than 265 from your friend? |

[ QUOTE ] the 1k to 200k runup, brandi? [/ QUOTE ] I got very lucky. Started playing with $500 in 15/30 limit game. After a few sessions, I ran it up to a little over 5K. Then played 30-60 for a few days and increased my bankroll close to 12K. I know it wasn't the best bankroll management, but I decided to take a shot then playing 100-200 limit. I ran really well and won close to 40K over a five day stretch. Keep in mind, I was playing very long (12-14 hour) sessions. This is where it started off in Vegas and it just catapulted from that point on after I left Vegas. That was by far the biggest run I've been on in my life. [/ QUOTE ] am I the only one who founds this hard to believe? |

what i have learned from barndi:
when you lose: 30k = 4k when you win: 40k = 200k if you owe someone 4k, offer to pay them 8k QQ is a 75%-95% favorite preflop over AK A9o is a 75%-95% favorite preflop over AA |

Totally wrong.
In situations like this where it can be a he said/she said, like loan/gift situations there are a few key facts that courts look at, and remember, civil courts only decide the preponderance of evidence, not beyond reasonable doubt. In other words, his side just needs to be more likely than hers. 1. The parties own words about the dispute. If Brandi acknowlegded responsibility for the debt, as Newhizzle says, in saved IM's she would be legally liable. 2. The truthfulness and consistenty of the stories of the parties. She already has been caught in multiple lies about the situation which would further degrade her credibility if it were ever to be litigated. The down side is that if he really need to sue her, rather than just threaten her, he would have to pay a chunk of the judgement to the lawyer. As a bonus, if she couldn't pay, if he is really mad, he could follow her around to tourney seizing her buy-ins. He would also be able to force her to reach agreement if they settled that she apologize on all the forums she's slandered him on and admit that he was telling the truth. If you think about doing it Newhizzle PM me, because there are some things it would be good for you to put in order, but would not want to alert Brandi. And Brandi, give me a break. This very thing happened to me. I was playing away for a weekend, my longtime boyfriend with whom I had a general agreement about playing small-limit on my account blew through it. First having a good time, then playing higher than he should, than losing more then he usually would have, then trying to win it back - sound familar. Didn't tell me either, but didn't lie to me. A bankroll, as you should know from being stressed and broke, is what lets you play and win. A bankroll on a pokersite is no different than cash for a game or tournament buy-in. After what happened I had to move down limits again to rebuild, and have had to put off some tournments I planned. Bad timing with the Neteller debacle, but nothing that wasn't going to happen for some reason at some point. The point is, if I did it with my money, fine. If Newhizzle lost his money, fine. It...was... his...money. He could put it on fire. Even if you were just learning to play at limits you couldn't support yourself, you were getting something out of it. And as a attractive and very-well endowed female, since at fifteen a teacher whom I genuinely liked and respected made a pass at me at little after I babysat for his wonderful family, I learned early, as I'm sure you did, men, even truly decent ones, will do foolish, stupid, and improper things for a pretty girl. But you've managed to travel the world, do two dozen different jobs, but never figure out what to do if someone made an unwanted advance? Sell stupid somewhere else baby, I ain't losing 30 IQ points drooling at your pictures. |
