Whenever a team mismanages the clock and makes bad playcalling decisions at the end of a game or half, it should now be known as a Holmgren. i.e. the Hawks just Holmgrened that game.

I was hoping for a good game, it is unfortunate that it came down to alot of bad/questionable calls. The the first half was pretty good, the second half was pretty poor. No one should get the MVP.

SEA lost b/c they couldn't come up with any big plays, and b/c they allowed Roeth to complete a 3rd and 28.

the refs made it harder for them, but don't blame it 100% on them

The thing about all the bad calls by the refs is that they all came at crucial crucial times. Totally different game if not for the refs. And I'm a NE fan and I didn't feel this way after the Denver game.

AFC teams must feel sick now. It was a gimmie by the Seahawks. Congrats Steelers fans.

[/ QUOTE ]

why should AFC teams feel sick?

I thought befoe the playoffs that the 4 best teams in the NFL were in the AFC, and I don't feel any differently now

I'm biased but...

Pittsburgh didn't win.

Seattle lost.

Officials helped.

If there's one thing I'm taking from this super bowl it's that the NFL needs professional officials. Because this was a JOPKE. Pittsburgh was TAKER.

I felt that way after the first pass interference call. But after we turned the ball over like 2398794 times, it was obvious we threw that game away.

the only call that REALLY bothered me was the offensive pass interference in the first quarter. the other calls, whatever, they are human, mistakes will be made. the first quarter call on jackson was ridiculous.

anyway rant rant blah blah. time to get wasted and pick fights with people
