USC was totally overrated last year. Needed a miracle pass by Leinart, a lucky fumble that went out of bounds before time ran out, and cheated on the final play, blatantly, to win. They beat up on a weak Pac-10 last year.

They gave up 42 points to a mediocre Fresno St.
Fresno was 8-5 and lost to:
Oregon
Nevada
Louisiana Tech
Tulsa by 7 in the bowl game,
and lost by 1 TD at USC.

That's how overrated they were. You should try to avoid the media hype in the future.

Their offence was one of the best of all time but their defense was sub par. But on the whole, their offense was so good that they were good as a team. Losing by 3 in a national championship game that could have gone either way does not = over rated. You're an idiot.

I have a very short time span knowledge of college football....but is it just me or is Jason White perhaps the worst NFL prospect that won a heisman? At least Crouch could have converted to WR (he just wasn't willing to)....

maybe not but i'm still disappointed that they didn't show that in super-slo-mo. that might have improved the experience.
