[ QUOTE ]
ZJ, Is the rumor true that you faked the affiliate shutdown email so you get to keep all your affilate money now without paying your players any rakeback? [/ QUOTE ] I took it from context that ZJ was not paying rakeback and was keeping all the money for himself already. |

[ QUOTE ] trouble is, ZJ has been branded a cheater, and his actions at this point are all presumed to be dishonest. Party support isn't going to comb through hundreds of thousands of hands/STT's to find the ones where ZJ didn't cheat so they can give him that money back. [/ QUOTE ] Say if someone played on a site for 2 years, won $1 million, created a second account, played 1 tournament with two accounts, then proceeded to get their full million confiscated? Black and white thinking usually isn't fair. I don't think it is in this case either. [/ QUOTE ] I agree with you, but that isn't the case here. this would clearly be a giant web to untangle, and Party really has no reason to spend the time untangling it. |

They are shutting you down because you have been cheating.
I applaud their stance in this matter - cheaters should be unwelcome anywhere. |

But Zee himself claims to have been a "big winner" in the Party SNGs with his other accounts. Therefore, all of that money, which is money that was won illegally, should be seized. |

[ QUOTE ]
I'm no fan of zeejustin, I dont even know the guy and his post in this thread is a joke. That put aside however, I really think you people are getting way too into this. So he violated party's rules and they proceeded to confiscate everything he had in his accounts. I did not agree with that JJprodigy kid getting his last 40k confiscated, so I guess I dont agree with party confiscating the money zeejustin has _legitimetly_ won either. I do however see that party needs their signaleffect to be as strong as can be, but I'm not sure if I think its _fair_ that they took every last dollar. I just feel the majority of the posters in this thread takes way too much pleasure in kicking someone when they're down. Perhaps because I don't play tournaments at all I'm having trouble pinpointing where everyone's overthetop anger stems from. I'll go out on a limb (and probably get flamed) by guessing that jealousy might be a factor for some posters? -Nikla [/ QUOTE ] Do you think its correct that money set aside for a drug dealers daughter that was generated from interest earned on invested money from drug sales should be confiscated? That was poorly worded so let me try again. If ZJ used $100 to honestly win a SnG table, but that $100 came from dishonest winnings then IMO his win is not honest because the buyin money shouldn't have been his in the first place. How many times does it take to launder money for the original wrong doing not to count? I say the original wrong is always in play. A second point is that the $100k is the tip of the iceberg of his winnings so don't cry the kid a river. I'd love to see his bank account and compare what he lost. I don't think there would be that many empathizers. On a separate note, how much money do you need in an account to have enough to play your game? Iwould think that even $5K would be sufficient. Multiply that by 6 accounts and you get $30K. IMO its foolish regarless of honesty/dishonesty to leave $100k sitting in online poker accounts because we will never know when the whole system will come crashing down. This isnt FDIC or SIPC insured you know. |

Perhaps.
How do you think he'll like all this brought up on national TV. You will never escape a cloud this big. It will also cause pain for his family. He is a high profile player and would have made most peoples short list for talented up and coming. Not only the financial endorsements but the "quan". |

closer: Posing naked in front of mirror.
Nikla: ZeeJustin has admitted being at the same table in a tourney more than once. This is a guy who easily could have chipdumped to himself in the course of his two $100k+ wins. And he had multiple accounts with which to aggressively attack strong opponents who were fighting to keep their one entry alive. There are many, many things ZJ can do to cheat with six accounts on these sites. There is no way to know how much of his gains were ill-gotten, but it could very easily be more than the amount that was confiscated. As for why the negativity? Well, I can tell you that from me there is absolutely no jealousy, as there's nothing about ZJ's life or poker that I'm jealous of. What pisses me off incredibly, though, is that every time I log on and play online poker without cheating in any way, I know there are guys out there cheating in various degrees. That is just part of the cost of playing online poker, and something I accept as part of the total EV equation. So, when one of these guys gets busted, yes, it is a cause for celebration, since if all the cheaters got busted I would be making more money. |

[ QUOTE ]
How can average players like you and me hope to win if there are 6 ZJs and 2 JJs out there? [/ QUOTE ] 1) You're not an average player. 2) There are many players out there who suck. |

[ QUOTE ]
The fact of the matter is, even if these guys play 2 or 3 accounts the likelyhood that they end up at the same table in a 500 player event let alone a 5000 player event is relatively small. Also keep in mind there is diminished rewards with each additional account they play. Let's say first place in a $200 tourney is $100k and 2nd is $60k, they can get a 500x return on the first $200 buy in, and only have the opportunity for a 300x return on the second. As you can see there is an inherent cost associated with playing multiple accounts. In my opinion this cost exceeds any edge they may gain in the unlikely chance that two of their acounts wind up at the same table. [/ QUOTE ] There is a cost, but it is very small in my opinion, the players expectation is around 3-4 buyins for each entry made, I doubt that changes by more than a dollar or so in a 200+15 tourney for each entry. Of course this helps hourly rate anyway, assuming no other equivalent opportunites were available. Regards Mack |
