In fairness to Doug, there have been other players that have posted similar complaints about having funds frozen. In a number of these situations Doug has stepped in,and when it wasnt clear that there was fraud or collusion committed,he helped them get their money back.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, i like Doug a lot.

But if FTP Fraud-support would actually respond to e-mails and be fair and listen to their players then there shoudln't be any need for Doug to have to step-in to save the innocent-players in the first-place.

Where the hell would these players be if Doug weren't there?
Probably still with none of their money while having more of their e-mails ignored by FTP fraud-support.

[/ QUOTE ]

EXACTLY

So what about the players that have not had the help of Doug? What if they were genuinely innocent? They has now lost their money due to FTP's negligence and FTP (as a company) basically don't give a ......... That seals it for money, I am going to close my account until they can prove they are trustworthy. Just hope I dont have any problems withdrawing my money!

“Eric needs to come forward with some details of the incidents in question before FTP is obligated to anything IMO. He can't just keep pleading the 5th.”

Is this how burdens of proof work? I thought defendants plead the fifth in response to the government’s allegations of misconduct. The government then cannot impose penalties until it makes its case without the defendants’ testimony. Here, Fulltilt seized Eric’s money pending an investigation, which I understand. However, before Fulltilt can permanently impose a penalty on Eric, it has the burden of substantiating its case. Doug may be a nice guy. But his word is not good enough for me. My money may be coming out of Fulltilt shortly.

FT is not a U.S. Court of law my friend. They are not a U.S. Company. This is not a legal action. If it was, I would guess eric is a minor based on his grammer and spelling. Even if it was in court, other countries' legal systems operate differently than ours and, in fact, some would put the burden of proof on Eric to prove he didn't do it.

If he wants his money at this point, he needs to give an explanation for his actions. He hasn't even tried.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, everybody knows that minors got bad grammer. That's why they needs lawyers to help him.

Thats the thing I think Doug and Ftp are full of it. Why would I have 7 people doing fraud have them dump chips to me only to lose it back to regulars.

[/ QUOTE ]

Because you needed to cover your fraud and its a game of chance and you probably suck at poker?

All true.

And I wouldn't doubt it if his superiors have restricted him from offering similar assitance in the future.

If that's the case, thanks for helping the ones you did in the past.

As far as the Stars analogy goes, this entire case would have turned out the same, except quicker. No site would post the hands.

Tuco.

[/ QUOTE ]
You are wrong about this. If eric gives them permision 99% of sites would post the hands.

I gotta say that I am suprised that FTP have not been on here to defend their actions and to convince players that their accounts are definately safe. Doug has not been anywhere near since he last flung the accusations around without evidence. Why is this? Come on and sort this mess out FTP!

Is'nt the OP asking for all the proof kind of like getting caught cheating on a B&M casino, and demanding to know who are their eyes on the floor and where are all the cameras?

[/ QUOTE ]

To use your example, he is told by the B&M that they have "caught him on tape" cheating.

And all he is asking for is to see the tape.

"If you have me on tape fine, let me see it."

A reasonable request.

(I am only referring to the hand histories.)

[/ QUOTE ]

To use the B&M example, what FTP did with their last response would be the equivalent of a 300 pound gorilla coming to your table, taking your $14k in chips and throwing you out the front door by the scruff of your neck. "GET OUT AND STAY OUT!!"

If a site is going to confiscate your funds, you should get a full explanation in writing and a phone conversation would be nice too.
