maybe slightly. Given that neither side agreed to complete terms at any point, I don't think it's a big deal. Ken ran his mouth saying any money whenver, that's not really a complete deal. Immoral? possibly, but just barely, I'd say.

Whereas 1C5 had previously agreed to $500 in November, and kept saying, "oh man I'm getting hustled, but it's too late I agreed to the terms."

Nick did not engage in any deception regarding his qualifications. As for the statements you quoted, it's pretty impossible to believe that Stanford students could be deceived in any way by statements like that. I mean, look at all the people early in the thread who clearly knew Nick had a big advantage. Are you trying to tell me that Stanford students were dumber than all those people? Impossible. They obviously knew exactly what they were getting into when they made the deal.

In the most extreme example, the shell game, or 3 card monte, there is deception because the guy says what is going to happen, AND THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENS!

The litle pea is never there, in any shell! And when he shows you which shell, it has been slipped back in!!!

That is a world of difference between saying simply you're not that great at a skill. That is not a requirement in any contest in any aspect.

YOU SHOULD ENTER ANY CONTEST, GAME, ET CETERA, ASSUMING YOUR OPPONENT IS THE BEST AT WHAT YOU'RE DOING, EVEN WITHOUT MONEY ON THE LINE.
