The movie for Katie is from when she was around 13 years old, and I am hosting it for her myspace. I did not take that video, as I only met her when she was 19.

As for which girl it is, I'm not saying anything. Before mean things get said, though, Ang (big girl) has been a close friend of mine since like 7th grade and it is not her.

So I just read this whole thread.. fairly interesting in a "I can relate somewhat from my past" and "reminds me of some of my friends" sort of way. I've been through or involved in a situation like this, however the girl didn't play these games. I've known friends who have pursued girls who do play these games.

Basically my advice is this: if you got everything you wanted, right now (ie: you and her were full bf & gf, sex, emotion commitment, blah blah) - within 3-6 months you would hate her and yourself. And this would be fine, if you were to get everything you wanted, but IMO that's not gonna happen, and if it does it's gonna be a long, slow painful process that involves this other guy.

You have to ask yourself if you wanna feel this way forever (the mixed messages, being played with, taken advantage of, toyed with sexually, etc). If you're okay with that, keep this up. If you at some point want to be happy, you have to get out of this thing. One way is for things to get serious and then burn themselves out (infatuation will fade after a semi-long term sexual & romantic relationship exists - then you'll realize what a mistake this relationship was). However, this way either is never gonna happen or you'll have to waste another year of torture to get there. A second way is called cold turkey and that is what's needed here. You'll be in pain for a while, but this will go away, your attachment is far more shallow than you believe it to be now. Cutting all contact, and getting out with other people (and eventually other girls) is very necessary for this to work with any degree of success.

The ultimate OOT answer to this would be to finally nail this girl at any cost (do whatever needs to be done) - then never call her again. Ever. (she deserves this). Unfortunately this will never happen here, and the OP will only be able to conceive of doing this about two years from now.

Anacardo rocks as always, but I would say that skipping any of this thread is a mistake. It's an organic thing, man. Smoke it and take that smoke deep into your lungs. It will take your brain to another place. You'll be able to count your fingers, man, but you'll never run out of them, even if you have only five. Step through the looking glass of self-degredation, and chase your white rabbit down into a hole that isn't there. Explode through the house and realize you're wearing a dress and the queen wants your head. Post about it on OOT and say you were only painting rosebushes. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit reading this thread.

I agree that this bad boy cannot be appreciated through Cliff Notes. On the other hand, most peoples' reaction to reading the damn thing is to want to kill doc, someone else at random, or themselves, so it's hard to recommend reading it. I feel great envy for those who believe in their hearts that it's BS, I only wish I could know that freedom.
