That is certainly not a good sample size, but those aren't very good stats. I understand hes playing plo too, but this is TONS of hype. omfg bigj0e gave him a free membership?! LOL.

I want say one thing - You are all welcome to send money if you want to, but I want to make it clear that wickss hasn't (to my knowledge) solicited this money, nor will he be allowed to ask for money publicly at any point (I'm not insinuating that he would, just saying).

So... if you want to send him money, that's fine. Just don't send money if it in any way is going to make you mad in the future if this whole thing somehow doesn't work out (he busto's, it's revealed he's a millionaire, etc).

I just don't want to have to have to deal with trying to clean up a vig-style trainwreck at any point in the future, so I thought I'd make this PSA now that money is changing hands.

cliff notes: If you send him money, regardless of how this whole thing turns out, it's your problem and therefore no one is responsible for helping you get it back.

For $13 it's worth it for comic value alone. And given that your site gave the guy a free membership ($125 to start plus a monthly fee) and a blog on the site it seems strange you'd be so hostile towards the idea of helping the guy out.

Seeing as there is a scam like this once a month, I think it's stupid to give him money. He would not have suscribed to SNGICONS in the first place, his blog will increase traffic and if he is a scammer we can cut him off. See the difference.
Note: I'm not suggesting wickks is a scammer, but just pointing out how stupid and naive it is to give a complete stranger $13 for no reason.

It costs more than that to see a movie nowadays and this thread has made me laugh more than any movie I've seen in quite a while. Playing for 8 hours a day or more gets to be a grind and anything that helps lighten the mood a bit is much appreciated.

If it's a scam, the laughs were more than worth the cost. If it's not a scam, the guy gets a bit of help and I still got to laugh during the "workday". Either way I'm ok with it.
