[ QUOTE ] There is no way you can not love this guy after the interview. [/ QUOTE ] I don't know, he's a PR specialist who's likely an expert in handjobbing people. Forgive me if I don't melt at the thought of his phone call to his dad. If you think he's ignorant of his marketing potential, you're pretty naive. [/ QUOTE ] THE GUY WON 12 MILLI0N DOLLARS AND HIS DAD IS DYING OF LOU GEHRIG'S DISEASE. IF YOU ARE NAIVE ENOUGH TO SUGGEST HE IS USING THE DEATH OF HIS OWN FATHER TO FURTHER HIS OWN PR, THEN SHAME ON YOU. DOUCHE. |

It is socially acceptable to be a douchebag at the poker table as long as you win as long as you dont act like one after the game is over. I think he has played this part to perfection. |

Clayton,
The depths of your insight from 18 years of life experience are incredible. Please, keep telling it like it is and pointing out which people are losers in life and which are winners. |

[/ QUOTE ] If he's really ice cold enough to call his dad and induce crying, he's a wicked actor. No matter what, with his humble style (in the interview, calling friends/family more important than the money by far etc) and eloquence, I'm sure he'll be a great ambassador for poker. If he gives away a huge chunk of his winnings to charity, even more so. |
