How tragic. I shall eat as much stuffing as I possibly can in his memory.

Is it just me or has this NC thread survived much longer than others?

[/ QUOTE ]

This is the longest NC thread to date. Since the end of the NC thread is at hand, I figured I'd just let this one live out the rest of its days rather than start another one. Does anyone have a problem w/ that policy? I'm willing to reconsider.

Hmm...does this mean they're making a no content forum!? For Bad Beats, brag posts, etc?

Poor, poor bottomset -- he never got his own personal NC thread.

Can't we give him this one for Christmas. *I picture that baby in his Avatar saying "god bless us evey one" and everyone cheers, some hot women cry and hold the baby.*

Hmmm...at the end of the longest, most-posted-to and most-read NC thread possibly in the history of the ML forum, you plan to kill NC entirely?

What is the hoped-for result?

Gharp nailed it. We're making a Beats, Brags, and Variance forum. We're also splitting HUSH into a Small Stakes Short Handed forum for 2c/4c 6max through 5/10 6 max, and a Mid-High Stakes Short Handed forum for 10/20+. These forums will be designated as limit forums. The Micro we know and love will return to its roots as a 2c/4c through 1/2 full ring forum rather than being 2c/4c - 1/2 full, 2c/4c - 1/2 6max plus Wookie's 5/10 6 max posts. Additionally, the Small Stakes and Mid-High forums will be divided into Small Stakes (2/4 through either 5/10 or 10/20), Mid Stakes (10/20 or 15/30 through 20/40), and High Stakes (30/60+). Lastly, we're making a forum suggestions forum.

There is some talk about making a strictly Heads Up or Heads Up/3 handed forum, but that's not going to be implimented until there's clearly more demand. If this is something you'd like to see, be sure to make HU posts in SSSH. There's also some talk about splitting the two PL/NL forums into three, but that, too, is on the back burner at present.

I think these are all good ideas, and it will create an interesting mix of posters since a lot of us will be finding new "home forums". In the end, it'll probably be a good thing.
