For what its worth, that's the only guy I've heard talk about steroids in this press conference. What I'm also noticing is that Barry is handling himself with a TREMENDOUS amount of class throughout this conference. I am simply in shock. If he could've found a way to act throughout his entire career the way he's handled himself tonight, he might actually be liked by a majority of fans outside of SF.... He doesn't even want the ball from the fan. If this is all a line of BS he's feeding us...wow. He has to work hard enough at baseball already, he doesn't have anymore energy to expend humoring a bunch of crappy journalists who couldn't care less about Barry Bonds besides what they can get for their story. [/ QUOTE ] Rocker got a ton of [censored]..but it is vastly different. Rocker was some nobody...a flash in the pan. Bonds is the [censored] in terms of baseball players. Even before juicing he was in the top .01%. Bonds brought on the majority of heat he has gotten with his general attitude + being a prick + plus using roids. But once you get on the bad side of reporters over years n years you'll never get back on their good side.

I'm glad to see this happen. I could write a long post about my thoughts on steroids, but I'm drunk, so I'm not going to. I was rooting for him to break the record (and have been doing so for awhile), and I hope that people view it as the legitimate record.
That said, [censored] you Barry. I made a bet in the 3rd inning that he would hit it out in his at bat. He singled, only to hit the record-breaker in his next at bat. I run so bad. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Edge, do you not follow baseball very much?
This is pretty standard stuff, Bonds has class and shows respect, while at the same time is a bit antisocial and hates stupid questions. Then the next day writers tear him apart.
