People seem to forget that when Stue won all his tournaments, it was when the field was of 30-300 players.
Its a much greater feat to win a WSOP now then it ever was 20 years ago. Best player ever? Look at the biggest cash game winners and you will find him. |

Yep, tournament poker is not the place to really judge. Chris Moneymaker - good but not great. Just look at how many all in's to win a tourney, even if you are always 60-40 its not likely you will make it through. Ferguson is known to take even the smallest edges - and very successful. Stu had the right idea in No limit - its not about the cards he is holding - its about what the other players have. (But at $100 Party you probably should know what cards your holding since you might just get called)
