the missed boarding call when Chelios hit Hemsky? pretty horrible reffing.

[/ QUOTE ]

No way that was a penalty. Hemsky sorta just spun out there and took a hard hit into the boards, but if you check the replay, Chelios didn't do much.

Certainly wasn't boarding, but it might have been tripping. Either way, the good news is that a great evil has been at least temporarily thwarted.

awesome game, I agree that the head hit on Peca was a penalty, but it makes up for about 3 penalties in the 1st on Detroit that weren't penalties. Also, the second goaltender interference on Smyth and every penalty in the 3rd except for the one of the glass and the one on Yzerman were atrocious calls. Oh well, balances out in the end and wow I am so relieved.

I am not a huge hockey fan, but I will be in Motreal this weekend and think it would be fun to attend a game. Do Canadiens playoff games typically sellout? (I'm assuming they do) What are the chances of getting 4 scalped tickets at a reasonable markup?

About the same as finding a French Canadian that wants to be part of Canada and does not think the rest of Canada owes them. Translation Slim

Phew that was close Oilers Rule

I suggest you take a look at the NHL rulebook sometime. There's some interesting things in there - namely, what is and what is not a penalty.

Zero, unless you consider reasonable to be many hundreds of percent.

Seriously, Meatball, it'd be cheaper to fly down to Raleigh and get tickets for game 5 (assuming there is a game 5, of course).

About the only tickets on the planet that would be harder to get right now are Leafs playoff tickets...
