I think Daniel's a bit on tilt and is trying to catch some big flops with crazy hands to trap people.. plus it sets up his hands like 88 vs. Doyle's Aces.

The funny part is that if at this point he defaulted to his normal tournament game, instead of trying to outplay everyone, he'd probably get paid off a fair amount.

Phil plays small pot poker.. this might not be far from his tournament game.

Phil's a tourney donkey
Antonio is probably the best player in the red right now
Barry/Johnny are just playing typical TAG poker

I am by far more impressed by Antonio's play at this level (out of his comfort zone and bankroll level) then most of the other guys. Some good reads, but last night it was like everyone just wanted to wait till Phil was in the pot then it was any 2 cards were good enough to beat him

I am sure a lot of people have seen this, but for those who haven't check out Barry Greenstein's take on Phil. Gotta love the anecdote at the end. Especially after he stacks the donk twice!

I like barry's explanation of Phil's style, very good.

Anecdote is indeed amusing hehe. And phil's theme-music oh my god hehehehe

Best Phil line of the night in my opinion came when he was complaining about everyone making moves at him:

"Antonio makes a move at me with 7-3...which was good by the way."

I was rolling after this one.

I guess he (Negreanu) doesn't want to start folding to reraises so players don't do it more often to him.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's been my impression.

The best part was Negreanu's insta-muck at the river with middle pair vs Harmon. Then the comment "I knew it was AA or KK, JJ, something like that."

I think this is the first time he made a comment about a hand, after a fold that he was way off on.

I don't blame him. No way I would think a seemingly tight/conservative player who raised a few limpers preflop is betting all 3 streets with AQ high unimproved. And yes, I have to admit that the fact that the player is a woman would make it seem even more unlikely.
