i emailed you the other day but haven't heard back from you. i bought the full version and it's still not working for me, but now the problem is it's saying it doesn't recognize my databses. thanks

With the last version of the soft (1.02), you have to "activate" the database(s) that you want to use. I also added a feature that allow you to test the connection to each database. Did you try that, and have you activated one database?

Let me know how it worked, you can email me at [email protected]

it's a nice piece of software, but clicking on each table and waiting needs to be addressed.

You are definitly right, and i'm working on that right now. I'm trying to make an automated process to scan the entire lobby.

Wouldn't it be nice to be able to have all the tables of the lobby evaluated and sorted before we even open a table? That's where i'm trying to go with PTS...

[/ QUOTE ]This won't be any different than what a human does, but it'll just allow you to read a book while you wait, right?

The bottleneck isn't your app; it's the wait-time while the lobby loads. If you're playing a limit with tons of tables, and this takes 4 seconds per table, this will take a while.

Is it really down to only 4 seconds now? When I investigated this a few months ago it was 2-15 seconds w/the average being somewhere north of 8 seconds and even then what was displayed wasn't always in sync with the table itelf when you opened it. Hopefully the new party updates have improved that.

Which still is valuable I think . Especially as you can keep the program running and when you feel like maybe playing for a while, you can just glance at the monitor to determine if it is worth sitting down at the moment. I would buy it...

PTS is a great tool for utilizing one database-so for many users it is a great tool. In my experience thu if you activate multiple db's the app. is very slow to update stats thus hurting it's functionality.

Right now it is faster to scan potential tables with PokerAce Hud....if the app can support more db's in a speedier fashion I would use it regularly

I'm looking forward to using it at other sites where I only have 1 or 2 databases..havent tried it yet at PokerStars..has anyone tried it yet?

the problem is i can't even get into the postgre options menu. it says "no posgresql poker tracker database detected or activated"

from the help page:
[ QUOTE ]

1. Set up your database
The Database window displays all the PostgreSQL databases detected on your computer. Check in PokerTracker in File/Maintain Database Name, to determine what are the databases you want to activate.
For each database you want to activate:
- enter a quick description
- enter the login ( usually postgres )
- enter the password ( the one you used when you installed PostgreSQL )
- check the "Active" checkbox
- click on Apply
- click on "Test Connection" to check your connection settings
Once you have successfully activated at least one database you can start scanning tables

[/ QUOTE ]

i'm assuming this is supposed to be done in PTS?
