My biggest movie disappointment ever was watching the Keaton/Nicholson Batman in 1989. My best friend and I drove all over town to find a theater that wasn't sold out, and then.... WTF. Not the worst movie ever, of course, but WTF was Tim Burton thinking?

The Good Shepherd. Incredibly slow-moving/boring imo.

The Phantom Menace (obvious winner)
Godzilla (this was one of the first of the big budget Hollywood remakes of old classics, and I was really excited about it coming out) |

Zyzzyx Road had a budget of two million dollars, but only made $20 according to IMDB. That has to be some kind of record!
EDIT: I suck at reading posts... |

[/ QUOTE ] Heaven's Gate cost over $35 million (1980 dollars, making it one of the most expensive movies made up to that point) and grossed under $3.5 million. It essentially destroyed United Artists and the career of director Michael Cimino. |

I thought it would have been impossible to screw up a parody of teen movies, but Not Another Teen Movie proved me wrong.
I thought that movie was pretty charming. |
