I have talked to him a bit, we actually talked about some business idea he had once. I did not offer to invest heavily. I think I like the guy, he's sort of likeable and everything, but just so [censored] preposterous. But seems like a decent guy. But he's so preposterous.

A+ response from Pokerstars

Hello David,

Thank you for your email.

Although I am not aware of this player leading a poker school on our site, and I am unable to divulge what this player was holding in this hand, I can say that even the most reputed players make bad plays from time to time.

Just last night I saw Phil Helmuth make two terrible calls on the river (calling with king high against a player who was holding a mid pair). Whilst there is no justification of such calls, I found your report to be very amusing and thank you for bringing this to our attention.

If we can be of further assistance, feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Best regards,

Owen

a player named gambler2k4 is under the belief that your site is considering allowing him to start a poker school there.

i for one, support this. i think the site needs more fish anyway, if you don't believe that this school would make the quality of play on this site worse, please to be viewing this hand:

Table 'Peneleos' 6-max Seat #4 is the button
Seat 4: Dalmations ($597 in chips)
Seat 5: Lukieplaya ($4614 in chips)
Seat 6: gambler2k4 ($995 in chips)
Lukieplaya: posts small blind $5
gambler2k4: posts big blind $10
__2cb__: sits out
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Lukieplaya [4d As]
Dalmations: folds
Lukieplaya: raises $30 to $40
gambler2k4: raises $100 to $140
Longhorne joins the table at seat #2
Lukieplaya: raises $4474 to $4614 and is all-in
gambler2k4: calls $855 and is all-in
*** FLOP *** [8h 2d 3h]
*** TURN *** [8h 2d 3h] [6d]
*** RIVER *** [8h 2d 3h 6d] [2h]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Lukieplaya: shows [4d As] (a pair of Deuces)
gambler2k4: mucks hand
Lukieplaya collected $1989 from pot

please give the man a school on your site, for the good of everyone who plays there.
