[ QUOTE ] Because we were playing three-handed and it was the only game running, what he did is pretty much the same as taking money out of a heads-up match. [/ QUOTE ] if by "pretty much the same" you mean "absolutely nothing like" i agree with you [/ QUOTE ] I think you're wrong, and the onus is on you to state your case. |

[ QUOTE ] So you should have stopped playing right there and reported the incident. Afterwards it is too late to claim monies. The guy is playing his strategy and if the site allows it, then he is not cheating. [/ QUOTE ] But the site doesn't allow it - he is exploiting a bug... [/ QUOTE ] Well, I can see that your pissed off,but I would be more pissed off with the site rather than the player. The third player that you was with that got up from the table acted in his own best interests, the scum bag who took advantage of the software glitch acted in his own best interests, you had also the opportunity to act in your best interest which was of course to stop playing if this other guy was breaking the rules. You chose to take the attitude of heads I win, tails you lose. And kept on playing. Wether it was your conscious plan or not this is what it boils down to. You played and you lost. |

[ QUOTE ] He should have his account suspended because you lost your money, yes of course you are right. Lets not care about the problem, lets gamble it up, if we win great,if we lose, demand our money back. Your making alot of sense. [/ QUOTE ] No, he should have his account suspended because he was cheating. [/ QUOTE ] Again, if you can find the rule on Titan's site which states that what the guy did was cheating, go ahead. I couldn't find it, but who knows, maybe I missed it. |

[ QUOTE ] $4600 fwiw [/ QUOTE ] Wow. That's a lot. Why didn't you stop playing? [/ QUOTE ] I stopped at 2.30am on Monday night when I'd got up to this amount, and went to sleep. But stupidly when I woke up at 7.30am I started playing again - the laptop is by my bed and was on standby, so it was too easy. I lost a $2000 pot straight away, won a $2000 pot minutes later but was still down about $500, and was in full-blown monkey tilt "I have to keep playing, I have to get it back!" mode. Worse, I was meant to be getting ready and leaving for work. If I'd at least accepted the tilt loss and gone to work I'd still have had $2600 or so in the account by 8.30am and I could have won it back that evening or at over time. I just was too caught up in the game, and should have forced myself away. Obviously I should have done so. Or, at least, I should have gone back down to $1/$2. I just had gambling fever. Madness. |

However it could fall under the clauses about abiding by the rules, not exploiting the software, etc. BTW: "8. YOUR WARRANTIES AND REPRESENTATIONS You warrant and represent that: 8.1 you are not a resident of The Philippines, Antigua and Barbuda, Israel, Cyprus, Netherlands Antilles, Estonia, Bulgaria, Hong Kong, China, Turkey, and/or The United States of America and its territories; 8.2 you are acting on your own behalf; 8.3 you are not restricted by limited legal capacity; 8.4 you are not classified as a compulsive gambler;" OOPS |

Obviously you have a defective thought process. You should fix this. |

Obviously you have a defective thought process. You should fix this. [/ QUOTE ] It isn't covered in the T+Cs However it is controlled by the software which bans you from doing it. Therefore he is obviously acting in bad faith and giving himself an unfair advantage over other players, who can't take money off a table and return to it with less. I tried to rejoin a table with less and I couldn't do it, so he must have found a bug which he was exploiting, I'm not sure how - one suggestion was by selecting "Rejoin first available $5/$10 table" rather than directly selecting the specific table. |
