Some other cases (regarding bots) has shown that Party's client records and reports much information. That is a good basis for catching cheaters. Their investigation team though seems to act only upon a player being reported (i.e. this case could have been discovered by a computer doing the investigation). In ring games there is a "tradition" for watching out for cheaters and reporting them. I guess in MTTs, it is much less evident who cheats, and thus less people get reported. Thus, I think the players should demand more active policing from Party in MTTs.

I am so thrilled.

More multi-accounting cheaters exposed add to the pressure on the sites to allocate resources to deal with this problem.

If this clean-up trend continues eventually I might even consider playing the higher-buy-in tournaments again.

Until then ... I suggest everybody joins me in a boy-cot of these tournaments. If we keep buying in to them there'll be little incentive for the sites to do anything but respond to complaints over named players.

BTW, these things NEED to be public. I can understand if officially party don't want to be publicly associated with cheating, but they have to understand that it's GOOD publicity after all. If not officially, they should unofficialy report all those pros caught and banned (and according to nat, there are more than just JJ & ZJ), in the many ways possible to start an online rumor.

and for the people saying the punishment should be commensurate with the crime, are you trying to suggest the players should have their accounts seized? LOL.

Seems pretty standard - I would expect that they want to see if he played at the same table for any of these events with multiple accounts and then confiscate winnings from those tourney's and you can't do that if the account isn't frozen. I'd be shocked if the rest was not returned very quickly.
