diebitter,

I'm sad you didn't use my idea. It has the potential to be a huge earner.

db:

Did you consider my idea about a listing of funniest off-topic forum discussion threads from various boards? The more I think about this, the more brilliant it sounds...

You could either have independently nominated threads as links on a page or somehow contrive to set up software so that the viewer could see the various threads all under one user name...perhaps even post under a guest log-in that you automate? You could put the impetus on the mods you send you the links and all you have to do is cull out the not funny ones and display the good ones...

there could be archived and current threads...famous ones like how many 5 year olds, the original ORLY thread, , snakes on a plane, original Lee Hotti thread etc etc...

Anyway, worth a thought...people from various boards would come to your site to see themselves in an even more public forum and discover other sites...possibility of mucho traffic real quick.

This sort of fits in with the idea actually. I could easily modify the 'spidering' code for news sites to do the same for forums...

I'll certainly think about it...

DB, if you don't mind, I like the Trip Report idea and might use it as a web-skill refresher with a friend.

Default How about...

Are you ready? Get ready.....

A website (hands spreading apart, eyes wide), A website like no other... A place were poker players, players JUST LIKE YOU AND I! can come together and post camera phone pictures of their opponents, and then chat about their play!

Yes, just imagagine the last time you had a two outer suc....
Oh [censored] I can't keep this up.

I know someone who may be able to sell you one, for the low, low, low price of, well, anything. You got 3 wampum and a bottle cap? two unfiltered cloves and a used condom.

On the upside, (my friend's) site does have a SQL architecture in place for you to goof with, and it's more or less a blank slate with pseudo (ok, none) 2+2 clout.

you should just turn it into the 2+2'er facebook.

As a bonus, I have some naked pictures of chicks I've hooked up with hidden on there.

I'm far too lazy to even go through with it, but sure if you're OK with it I can pretend to myself that I might actually do some work.
