Do you guys believe in fate or anything? I never have, but this may change it...

On friday I downloaded the first season of Lost, and watched all of it this weekend. If you haven't seen it, the show is all about fate, and supernatural stuff. I've always been entertained by these types of shows, but obviously never believed any of the crap.

Anyway, this morning, I woke up early and was about to fly to DC to meet up with my 81 year old grandpa and take a road trip to Yellowstone. We have ALWAYS been really close and have taken plenty of trips all over the world. When I started thinking about the trip, I started thinking about how sad I'd be when he eventually dies and started crying a bit.

The moment I got out of the shower my dad called me and told me my grandpa was in an accident. From what I know right now he's ok but he broke his neck. I'm still taking the same flight now, but instead of going to Yellowstone, I'll obviously be taking care of him and his house and such for a while.

I'm sitting in the DFW airport right now scared and alone. Sorry to bring down the cheery atmosphere here, but what can I say... If you are close to someone and haven't talked to them in a while, call them tonight.

so i'm looking into buying a new car. I'm a ford kid, so I'd prefer buying something in the ford family (mazda, lincoln, land rover etc.) because we get a damn good discount and family politics...

anyways, budget is up to 30k... and my favorite so far is the mazdaspeed3. Has anyone driven one? Any other suggestions?
