I miss you more then Michael Bay missed the mark
When he made Pearl Harbor
I miss you more than that movie missed the point
And that’s an awful lot girl
And now, now you’ve gone away
And all I’m trying to say is
Pearl Harbor sucked, and I miss you

I need you like Ben Affleck needs acting school
He was terrible in that film
I need you like Cuba Gooding needed a bigger part
He’s way better than Ben Affleck
And now all I can think about is your smile
and that [censored] movie too
Pearl Harbor sucked and I miss you

Why does Michael Bay get to keep on making movies?
I guess Pearl Harbor sucked
Just a little bit more than I miss you

I'm excited for this purely based on the eye-candy that it looks like it will have. Isn't this why everyone goes to see any comic book or cartoon turned film? I'm sure people can cite translations that did do very well (i.e. V for Vendetta, an X-Men or two, etc.) but this movie just LOOKS cool, which is why I want to see it. And of course, like most other kids, I loved the toys and the show.

I go to see comic book movies because I enjoy superheroes and fanatastical fiction. If the movie doesn't have a good/entertaining story, plot, characters, etc. it sucks though. Michael Bay is incompetent at directing anything other than big cheesy eye-rolling action scenes. If you like that enough that you can ignore a horrifically bad story and dialogue, then this is probably the movie for you.

spiderman3...worst movie ever? yep

It was certainly bad, but this is a ridiculous exaggeration. For one thing, it's better than any Michael Bay movie.

Definitely a funny thread. It reminds me why I don't go into the religion forums here.

It was a basic summer blockbuster movie. . .lots of action, hot chick, a few funny lines. I enjoyed it and the crowd seemed to be really in to it. But I'm a simple guy and lack the ability to 'think critically' according to Dids, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I more or less enjoyed it the movie given i was expecting a big dumb popcorn movie with explosions, and it did that pretty well.

Various observations:
In most action movies, the black guy always dies first, or is the only one to die. In this its simply the transformer voiced by a black guy.

The pretty blond girl who is apparently super smart is working very high up in the American government and is apparently like 18, but is Australian? WTF?

Shia Lebeof is much faster than any robot, even when carrying a giant cube.
