Either way this offseason just got interesting. He'll be a megavillian in LA if/when he gets traded.

Well... I'm OK with him skipping town

I think every teams fans are thinking of possible trade scenarios.

So here's mine :

Pau Gasol, Hakim Warrick, and Rudy Gay for Kobe or Pau Gasol and Mike Miller and the 4th pick.

Then Jerry West stays in Memphis.

Here's an interesting article - http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=Am...o&type=lgns

As a diehard Laker fan, this is sooo lame. Kobe is the best player in the NBA and it would suck to lose him.

From the interview it sounds like the only reason Kobe is saying all this is because he found out someone within the Lakers organization has been fueling the rumors about the Shaq thing. He said that he thought it was just media spin. Apparently they also told him and Phil Jackson different things about the direction they wanted to go.

Sorry but the ESPN article is BS. There is no doubt in my mind that he wanted Shaq out. If he wanted them to keep Shaq then why did he wait till the day after the trade to resign. Kobe is a narcissistic prick who was jealous of Shaq for getting all the credit. He was so full of himself he thought he could win a championship without Shaq. He really thinks he is Jordan. The sad thing is he might be able to be Jordan if only he wasn't so selfish. He is only coming forward against the statement now because 3 years later Shaq has a title and he barely has 2 playoff appearances.

Well, as long as you're sure, ok.

Annoys me when people make comments like this with nothing to back it up.
