the last time I puked was when I had 10 shots of tequila without having eating dinner. i woke up the next day and ate some leftover meatloaf for breakfast and immediately regretted it. i've never been able to eat meatloaf since.

[ QUOTE ]
I never throw up that night, its always the next morning. When I'm sick the next morning...I throw up so hard that I break blood vessels in my eyes and face. good times. [/ QUOTE ] This routinely happens to me also. Or at least, it used to. A few years ago I discovered that I could avoid it if, the night before, I ate a 9-inch pizza with mushrooms and anchovies (I think, but do not know for sure, that the anchovies are key here). The next day, pas de pukage, and not much of a hangover at all, either. Never fails. I invite my fellow serial vomiters to try this home remedy and report back. It's so reliable that about an hour before closing I'll make inquiries of the bar staff about ordering pizza. I get many a hostile reaction from my drinking comrades about the anchovies, but it's more than worth it. |

I used to get this.
Would go to bed, sleep for a couple hours, wake up feeling like [censored], and puke. It didn't matter how much I drank either. I did it a couple of times after only 4-6 drinks. I wouldn't even get very drunk, but would get massive hangovers. The problem stopped sometime before my freshman year in college. |

If I drink a ton and throw up, it will usually be that night.
Only once in my life did I drink so much that I threw up in the morning. I drank so much that night that I threw up every 2 hrs or so from 4AM to noon. |

If you don't puke, you didn't drink enough. You try three bottles of red wine and then countless beer and vodka and NOT having to puke the next morning. The worst is when you can't even hold down water... I can remember drinking gallons of water to try to dilute the alcohol in my body, and just vomiting up all the water too. That horrible feeling of being doubled-up over the toilet, puking even though you've nothing left to puke - dry wretching - while you're shaking and sweating.
Jeez, I'm glad I replaced alcoholism with compulsive gambling. It's so much easier on your body! |
