I'm pretty sure I never posted anything like that

I wasn't referring solely to you.

I know samoleus' post was thought-provoking and Kane's posts in these two threads are a pathetic ego exercise.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think KKF's long post was the best post in the other thread. Full of useful info for samoleus but he took it as an insult rather than taking it onboard. Now who has the ego?

This is a shame IMO. I certainly have less respect for some posters who hijacked the last thread, Samoleus never made mention on his WR until people specifically asked him about. He suceeds using a style that most posters flaming could not, and elements of that could certainly be incorporated in people's games. He also is very articulate and explains his points well, he would have been an excellent contributor to this forum. Good work guys.

He can not be surprised if posters don't simply ignore an obvious lie and continue to treat him with respect and answer politely to his questions

Its funny that Im the egoist here, and not the guy that cant come out and say: "Hahahahaha, I was talking out of my ass", but insteads write a 500,000 word good bye letter.

As I said in the other thread Green Plastic claimed 10PTBB/100 in the big game on UB when someone asked him on his web site. Since Party game is a lot softer, why 15 would not be possible?

There are many players making more than 5PTBB/100 at 10/20 NL across all sites but they don't post about it.

I think that lapoker summarized the situation well.

It doesn't matter if he really wins at 1/3 of the WR he mentioned. Do you think you could do that playing 43/27? Then he could have contributed something.

you post good.

fwiw-

i think that maybe the OP was trying to impress the "HSNL" guys by posting a number of $6million, and once he got called out, he didnt want to go back.

to all saying that kane, myself and others are being childish etc etc, do you realize how much money $6,000,000 is?

taking that out of poker without nearly the entire poker world knowing who you are is impossible.

like i said yesterday, guys like spirit rock and green plastic, etc prob havent made that kind of money, yet when this guy comes on and says he did, you all accept it blindly?

come on.

he is a very solid player and a very good guy it seems. but i played extensively with him over the last year at 10-20, but MOSTLY at 1k 6 max games. now tell me, what type of WR does this guy need to post before people can agree that its much much more likely that he overstated his winnings?

that being said, id love for him to stay and post strategy, it would be good for the forums.

Since people who had PT-stats on him (and came forward in the last thread) seems to have him on a much lower winrate, it doesn't seem too likely in his case.

Does anyone have stats from playing him on Prima before Party introduced the $2000 games?

You're missing the point, it's not like someone threw him out the site, he's the one quiting, and why is he doing this? Because he's offended people have noticed an obvious lie. Are we now supposed to appologize for not ignoring it?

You claim to have made 5 million, are filled with indecidision over whether to quit your day job, and berate others for being skeptical?

[/ QUOTE ]

my sentiments exactly, this is much more absurd than any possible winrate
