Bragpost (lowstakes)

Today I cashed out more than half of my bankroll because I was suffering fancy tournament selection syndrome, due to my bigger bankroll after my first real MTT-win (~840 entrants) last week and running good in the 45-man SNGs for a few weeks. I am playing $10-$20 buy-ins and want to stick to these for a little longer, since I am playing poker for less than a year.

After cashing out, I played a $3r WSOP sattelite qualifier, spent exactly 9$, and finished 4th winning $549 (the top three won the $650 ticket).

After calming down (the sattelite bubble took ages and I was the shortest stack, plus the situation was new to me, so I was slightly adrenaline-overdosed), I played a $20/180 and won it.

Such a beautiful day.

Thanks to all posters for sharing your knowledge with me. This forum is golddust and the generosity concerning sharing knowledge is awesome. I hope I can give something back, when I am a grown-up player.

The above statement has been my life story since Fristgate. Partypoker and Paradise lied to me and told me I was good at poker.

I have ran so bad at FTP since I started playing there. All this crap about first time depositers getting huge hands always was crap, whenever I had them I would lose with them aipf.

Here is the first tournament that I have done anything in (meaning finished in the money). Make it to the FT as the top stack, keep about the same stack until I double up with 3 people left, taking over second, and then this happens. Villain has been running me over the entire table. He hit a 2 outer on the river early on to stay a live, and I've let him take my blind about 5 consecutive times to set him up for this:

Full Tilt Poker Game #1928542662: $5 + $0.50 Tournament (14008422), Table 37 - 4000/8000 Ante 1000 - No Limit Hold'em - 22:30:22 ET - 2007/03/05
Seat 4: CANiBuZZ (226,638)
Seat 5: Valsuvious (165,038)
Seat 8: ratadriano (118,324)
CANiBuZZ antes 1,000
Valsuvious antes 1,000
ratadriano antes 1,000
CANiBuZZ posts the small blind of 4,000
Valsuvious posts the big blind of 8,000
The button is in seat #8
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Valsuvious [5c Kc]
ratadriano folds
CANiBuZZ raises to 16,000
Valsuvious calls 8,000
*** FLOP *** [6c Ts Kh]
CANiBuZZ bets 24,000
Valsuvious calls 24,000
*** TURN *** [6c Ts Kh] [4c]
CANiBuZZ bets 83,000
Valsuvious raises to 124,038, and is all in
CANiBuZZ calls 41,038
Valsuvious shows [5c Kc]
CANiBuZZ shows [8c 7d]
*** RIVER *** [6c Ts Kh 4c] [9s]
Valsuvious shows a pair of Kings
CANiBuZZ shows a straight, Ten high
CANiBuZZ wins the pot (331,076) with a straight, Ten high
Valsuvious stands up
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 331,076 | Rake 0
Board: [6c Ts Kh 4c 9s]
Seat 4: CANiBuZZ (small blind) showed [8c 7d] and won (331,076) with a straight, Ten high
Seat 5: Valsuvious (big blind) showed [5c Kc] and lost with a pair of Kings
Seat 8: ratadriano (button) folded before the Flop

5-outer to knock me out in third place. Would have been my biggest cash ever too Table # is my favorite number too, so I thought it would be good to me hehe
