OK, more info, as I just got off the phone with their support:

1. Max $3k per withdrawal. Bodog will cover the fees for one withdrawal per week. Additional withdrawals can be made, but you have to cover the fees, which amount to $163 for a $3k withdrawal.

2. They are looking into alternative eWallet services and InstaCheck services and hope to have something "soon." (I know, not exactly breaking news, but the woman I spoke with was very positive sounding that they would have more options soon).

I initiated a $3k withdrawal over the phone, so perhaps I'll have the money by the end of the weekend? Interested in seeing how the other larger withdrawals are handled; I would not expect all WU "agents" to have enough cash on hand, but maybe I'm being pessimistic.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wow! Look at those fees, much higher than I would have thought.
What's surprising is I'm doing a cashout near 10K and while on the phone with Bodog numerous times, nobody has mentioned the 3K limit or any sort of fees except that Bodog was going to cover them.

Maybe that's why I haven't received my WU instruction email since mine is a much larger amount.

[/ QUOTE ]

They said $3k is the max, but they will just do multiple $3k withdraws to WU if you want a higher amount - shouldnt be a problem. And I put in my request yesterday, took about 24 hours for the email with all the details in it.

Also - Bodog says for now they are picking up all the fees for WU, but that wont continue forever.

This current situation is so ironic to me considering I started gambling online in the late 90's when I was 16. As a 16 year old with no bank account or credit card the only way I could get money in and out was using WU. Today, nearly 10 years later, my situation is exactly the same. Who would have thought?

Is that info current as of today? 'Cause when I spoke with their support this morning (~9:30am PDT, 1/19) the woman I spoke with said they would cover the fees for one $3k withdrawal per week; I could do more, but i would have to pay the additional fees. I would have taken out a lot more if I could have.

This is what they told me yesterday, so maybe since they're deluged with requests they are changing their policy.

Just got back from WU. No issues...but very slow. The grocery store I went to was a national chain- but still was only able to give me 4x$100's, 4x$50 and a ton of $20's.

Then I went to an Indian food store, in which he said he could only give me a check, not enough cash on hand there. Which was fine. Both places needed 2 forms of picture ID, and the Indian place asked for a SS#, so I made one up. The first store processed the transaction without one, so I didnt see why he needed it.

I hope this works. Bodog sounds like they are trying to run for the hills with our money? Please keep us updated on how this turns out..

[/ QUOTE ]

I doubt they bought Betcorp and Bowman's US player base just to close down.

[/ QUOTE ]

It would be a lot more money for them to run with lol

Two forms of "photo" ID?
I got a bunch of money in Bodog and planned on clearing the rest of my bonus quickly then asking for a WU.
Where do I get a second Photo ID? all i have is a DL. I have CC but they don't have a photo.

Bodog is breaking mine down into 3K increments, even though they continually told me otherwise on the phone.

Bodog recommended doing just one a day.

So I just got back from my first one. It was a place called Cash N GO.

They asked for my employment I told them self-employed & their computer wouldn't take it.
I told them put down business owner, & they wanted it more specific. I told them to put down Ebayer & that finally worked.

They also asked for my SS# & said that is mandatory for transactions over 2K for money laundering purposes.

I wrote down my correct one. Should I have made one up like Ted did?? But after the whole employment thing, I gave it to them, because I already seemed suspicious to them because I couldn't specify my employment.

So what are the ramifications of giving them my SS#? I'm kicking myself for doing this now. Oh well, too late now.

Should I go elsewhere & not give out my SS# next time as I'll have a few more of these to do over the next few days.

Forgot to ask, too late to edit my last post.

Anyway, if you don't mind saying what is the national Supermarket chain you went to, as I want to go some place else next time?

Stop'n'shop...not national- but NY and all of New England.

Both places asked for 2 forms of picture ID- did you experience the same thing?

I only lied about the SS# because the first place didn't ask for it. Figured I was safer not sharing it when I don't need to.
