To answer the original question:
While I liked the series of episodes I've seen (midway through season 4), all of the hardcore psycho fans of the show always say "ZOMG, you have to catch up and watch all 5 seasons to appreciate it!" It makes me want to not watch it, and my instinct is to despise everyone who is obsessed with the show. So, in summary, 24 is an awesome show, but the people who are obsessed with it are incredibly annoying.

1. Jack never charges his cellphone
2. No one ever eats anything 3. Jack apparently has a steel bladder as well, although I suppose this could be justified by #2. I still enjoy the show a good deal, its clearly not about the realism and I think most people who like the show accept this openly.

I hate this show for 1 main reason...
I cant stop watching it and it is taking over my life.. I have now seen 4 seasons so i have a good view on the entire show. The show does not get put together with the greatest care in the world and the writing can be awful at times. But for some reason i cant stop watching it. Its like the fast food of TV because its not great but you keep going back for more. For the record my favorite shows over the past year or 2 have been Deadwood(#1) and Rome.. 24 is up there but not anywhere near those 2. HBO knows how to write good shows

Her character had nowhere left to go and the storyline involving Kim and her relationship with Chase pulled me out of the show.

If the plot were believable it'd be boring as [censored]. It is the most entertaining show ever created, if you disagree with this you are a terrorist and I'll be notifying Jack Bauer shortly so that he can shoot you in the leg while you divulge all your terrorist secrets.
