Not sure I know my ass from elbow, but I've done pretty well picking NE games this yr
I can see this game going 1 of 3 ways:
1) NE jumps out to an early lead like last yr's Jacksonville wildcard game and never looks back.
2a) It's a hard fought game for 3 quarters with a margin of 3-7 points and NE cements the game with a late turnover or big play by Brady.
2b) It's a hard fought game for 3 quarters with a margin of 3-7 points and the Jets keep it that close for the whole 60 minutes.

I generally don't like taking points when I can't really see a scenerio where the underdog wins the game, so I'll be laying the points. To have a chance the Jets must keep it close, and close doesn't mean 7-10 points; IMO they must be tied at halftime and within 3 after 3 qtrs.

Sorry for not sufficiently "going out on a limb"; nitpick much?

are you saying this for them to win, or to cover the spread? There are alot of scenarios for them to win not counting those two. If they are down by 3 going into the second half but are getting the ball, they still have a good shot for a win.

When I got my custom title, the bet required the avatar to stay until the winning team lost or until to the pro bowl if they won the superbowl. I still can't believe that I had that damn thing until the probowl.

Was that with me?

The Jets were ranked between 20-25th in both offense and defense. This is one of the worst playoff teams ever who had the benefit of a very soft schedule. Look at some of the teams they beat: Green Bay, Miami, Oakland, Buffalo...

Pats win going away.

Yes it was. You took the worst of it by conventional wisdom but like I said earlier avatar bets shouldn't need lines, just pride. gl in the coaching search, I'll miss the old chin.

The Jets will win this game maybe 1/5, but I'll be rooting for them nonetheless!

I want to root for the Jets, but they're a New York team (and everyone's humping them).

At least I get to flat out root for Philadelphia.
