I'm better than her and play a different style than her, sweating would be a joke. [/ QUOTE ] Maybe. Apparently she does a better job of not tilting, though. Sweating does not have to be about strategy advice, just having her there to make you stop playing could help. That is: she can probably tell very well when you are starting to tilt, seeing as how she should know you pretty well. But if you really don't want her there, just go with the sex. It helps. Barry Greenstein even said so! |

This was gonna be my last orbit of the night. I stopped immediately after this hand. In 12k hands I have been set over set 3 times and I've never had the higher set. Thanks Lee. Limp/calling weak/tight vaginas, all of you!

lol SB play in that hand is terrible.
Mistakes I've made at the poker table lately: Check raising a super scary board with a set. Terrible idea, the guy with TPTK put me on the nuts (A straight). Great. Playing slightly too loose versus a very aggro LAG (30/20/4, he was decent). I stacked him for 200BB, but he got the better of me too often. I reraised slightly too loose versus him. I cbet too often (he played back WAY too often). Oh, I didn't call enough preflop with marginal hands ahead of his range. If your ever 200BB deep with other people, raise all pairs preflop, always. I learned this the hard way when raising a set on a AQ5 board. Crappy player who led played hands like 92o etc. Terrible play by me. Things i did well lately: Probably my biggest feat, I dropped either 50 or 75 bucks in about 15 minutes at a 25NL table. It was somewhat sick, although the hands could have been partly avoided. I shoved a flush draw multiway when I thought I had a lot of fold equity - oops hi top set. I got it in with a guy who had 12 outs on the flop, he hit gg two pair. 40/1/whatever stacked me when he hit a set and minraised a drawy flop. I should probably post that hand. I think I misunderstood table dynamics at the time, which i'm trying to get a handle on. At any rate, I didn't tilt, which was amazing. I made it back in like 40 minutes, and 25 or 30 was from that very table. They all left, which sucks cause the table was hugely fishy. I made a really nice double barrell against a loose/bad opponent. Reads are nice. I mostly adjusted to table conditions in that hand IMO. I bluffed that decent lag off a crappy pair, when I backed into 12-15 outs on the turn. He folded, said he had the best hand. It was nice, helped me stack him later when he hit TP-ten kicker. Oh, I outplayed the [censored] out of a bad lag. He had to slow down because I would often outplay him with bluffs, or he'd get ensared in a hand when I had a doozy. He also tended to bluff into a calling station (me). I read hands better than him. Poor bugger. humm maybe I'll make a blog to note all the things I did poorly at the table on a certain day. Probably be a decent idea. Meh, effort, work... |
