firstly - you probably shouldn't even go into a casino for a free buffet.

secondly - the past few months, what have you been up to - i do hope for your sake you started back with your old job. tell us about stuff you've been doing recently - is it better?

thirdly - holy crap if you use your BS scheme and actually parlay 7k to 170k, don't you think that'd be time to stop LORD. comparing it to lower takes if I parlayed $70 (BS gambling fun stakes) to $1700.. hmm - but yeah i do see your addiction and it's horrible - get PROFESSIONAL help

fourth - pretty fun stories - i like reading about others peoples demise - makes me feel better about myself, and especially when I get pissed as hell at losing $100 in 4 hours of 4-8....

lastly - HOW WERE YOUR COMPS? Tell us about the free rooms, free meals (why the hell were you paying for your steak dinner?) and for a 100k+ win you should got a free flight back depending on if it wasnt an MGM-MIRAGE prop . [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Goddamn it.

Where the [censored] is the Main event report!?

This story better end with you getting busted by Tiffany Williamson on the bubble after a huge all in overbet preflop with your AA losing to her AQo.

My BS detector definately went off, and I have a feeling some other people got the same reading.

My BS detector went off when I read his initial post as well. And it is rare to never that I question the veracity of posts on this forum. I wasn't sure about it though so I just sort of gave it the benefit of the doubt.

For starters I'm guessing that he doesn't sound like he's in his mid thirties because he's not in his mid thirties but in his teens.

Thanks for your posts.

There's no [censored] way a teenager wrote this story.

Why not?

Do his posts scream wisdom and experience to you?

My best guess is that this is 2 or 3 young guys. Maybe late teens maybe early 20's and college roomies - that kind of thing. I have no vested interest in this being a - "teenage boy" - I just don't think this is a man in his mid thirties.

Why are you cussing about this anyway? Sounds like you feel stupid for being duped and drawn in by this nonsense and you are uncomfortable admitting it. Everyone gets fooled sometimes.

I never said it sounded wise. It's just too well written.

Have you ever read a story written by a teenager trying to write well?

Still Waiting for Godot (obscure French play reference…look it up)

[/ QUOTE ]

Man, love your post...the above is wrong. 'Waiting for Godot' was written by Samuel Beckett, an Irish playwrite who lived out his twilight years in Paris. I think you should write a book about your journey, and please keep writing here. Good luck.

Wow 5 pages and half of it is trolling/flaming? Come on, post the rest of the story. It sounds plausible enough, so why do you care that other people don't believe you?

Posts like these are about the only thing that make me feel guilty about winning.
