dubois, I think calling here with QQ is suicidal. I'm generally going to ditch anything but AK and pocket pairs to this preflop action. I can't ever be pushing a worse made hand and you're behind A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], so you're only a favourite a few percent of the time when I'm tilting and doing something crazy. I was pretty sure you had something like JJ/QQ and would fold here but maybe I was wrong!

I wouldn't fold QQ/JJ, you could easily be isolating the donk with worse hands. Unless he wasn't that bad.

Edit: oh sorry dd didn't see your post. nm then.

[ QUOTE ]
I was the donk here (and by the way, that characterization was a poor one if you wanted the best possible responses to your thread). I do recognize an UTG/UTG+1 re-raise when I see one, so it should be obvious my range is almost exactly { QQ }... with a sprinkling of JJ/KK/AA/AcKc, I suppose.

I think Jam knows this, which should make his hand look stronger (and the semibluff itself, worse, since I would have called if you had folded).

[/ QUOTE ]
Sup bro. I dont actually think you are a donk, far from it, but I wanted to phrase the question that way to focus on what Jam would do in the situation, because frankly what you have isn't really a concern to me in this hand.

I still think, if you outflopped me, tough for me. In fact, the possibility of button (you) being a donk with a wide calling range should, if anything, should make Jam's move look strongest.

PS: damn it would've been a tough play to have QQ there if I folded.

Jam: why the tilt?
