I semi-feel for you.
About 2.5 years about I signed up for full tilt and they promised me a DVD after meeting certain wagering requirements.
I met those requirements and very much exceeded them.
After 2 months had passed I started emailing them once every 2 weeks asking when they were shipping my DVD.
Long story made short, after about 6 months, I started getting pissed so I made it my goal to get that DVD (not for the fact I really wanted it, just because I was upset with them and they continually lied to me).
After about 1 year of their lies about how they promise to ship in next week or "how they will ship it when they get it back in stock" i finally gave up.
Granted this only took me about a minute every other week to email them, but at this point I was getting far too annoyed with their BS.
Even party pokers support was 10x more helpful than theirs will ever be.
I honestly wish you the best of luck, but if I were you id prepare for the worst....

EDIT: doug if you read this I would still appreciate my signup bonus DVD so we can make things right...
(and yes, my shipping address WAS correct)

My account was suspended from the getgo and I couldnt access it from then on, Doug why don't you post my hand historys for the forum so they can see if I cheated or did anything wrong. why don't you explain to the forum why it took 2 1/2 months to come to a conclusion. Your support is absolutely horrid. And yes I did play mostly 10/20 nl or 25/50 nl either you have the wrong account or your making stuff up as you do work for those lying theives afterall. After being slapped in the face I don't even want my money back I want to expose you guys for who you trully are. Explain to the forum what warranted you theives to steal my money? Now everyone go listen to what Ftp has to say but when your in my shoes don't say I didn't tell you so. If there is even a 0.0001% risk a site is going to steal your money why play on it?

No the site wasn't declined and still on my statement I have recently contested it though with my bank, if I can't get my 14k back at least I will get my deposit back.

An honest player doesn't settle for $600 when he wins $14K.

Don't settle what do you mean?, they gave me no choice. When you know your not getting your money back and have been given the run around for 2 1/2 months you do settle. Question all my integrity all you want, if I wasn't honest I would bother spending my time arguing here I would known I did something wrong. Honest players comply with everything the site tells them as I did and I sent them every document they asked of me. Now if I did something dishonest to these theives you think I would do that. I would like the corporate executives or the people behind this site to send me their docs I bet they will never in their life.

For the future: Don't cash out all your money on your first cash out, sites hate that. (I know it shouldn't be that way, but it is)

What I do, if I was just bonus whoring, is deposit, play, then cash out like 10% of my total balance. THen I give them cover play. Once that 10% hits, I withdraw like 30%, more cover play, once that hits, then I cash out the rest.

I find you don't run into many routine gay investigations like that, and the site isn't as mad....I think they hate hit and runners.

Ohh, and never deposit via credit card = -EV

I had the same situation with stars 1st time I played and won, they just emailed me nicely(didn't lock me out of my account), and told me thast I need to send them docs and sign a form stating I authorize all charges from the site. I did all they asked and they shortly dispended my money. Whatever their reasoning is for stealing my money, they did it. You can't just say ok I am not going to pay this guy because I feel like it. That is shady business. My thoughts are they knew I was so fed up after 2 1/2 months that I would never give them rake again so who cares steal my money nothing I can do anyways right. If I defrauded your site you better give me a better explanation of what exactly I did not just say sorry after 2 1/2 months we finally determined you have defrauded our site no further explanation is available and we will now stop answering your emails hahahahahah to bad we are located in south america where us laws don't apply and you can't do jack.

Hi ericjones,

As a reminder, I am not in either the support department or the fraud department here. I don't know the specifics of this case, but I did briefly look into it. A few statements caught my eye specifically:

[ QUOTE ]
No not at all full table 10/20 nl, moved up to 25/50 nl doubled up 4 or 5 times there and cashed out.

[/ QUOTE ]
When I looked up the details of your playing time at FTP, I found exactly zero sessions at 10/20 NL, and saw that you were down overall at 25/50 NL. Obviously, lying about what stakes you played and how well you did is not a problem, but it did make me a little suspicious.

[ QUOTE ]
Yes, 1st time on Ftp.

[/ QUOTE ]
The account that had a little over $13K in it, maybe. When I looked up your info I also saw that you created another account 6 days prior to creating this account, which had a very similar pattern. Creating multiple accounts usually isn't in and of itself enough to get your funds seized. It is, however, clearly against the rules of the site and is another huge warning bell.

So already, with 5 minutes of looking into this case, I'm pretty inclined to believe our fraud department here. I did ask for more information just to be extra sure, and I do think we should be more forthright with our players about why we freeze their account (even if they're incredibly guilty).

When I do find out the details, Eric, I can either post them here or PM it to you, whichever you prefer. I'm not sure how much deeper you want me to look into this, though.

Doug

[/ QUOTE ]

Thanks for taking the time to respond Doug.

I kind of thought Eric might be lying, and with this response, I'm 99.9999999% sure he is now

My money once again feels safe back at full tilt poker

As you point out, it's possible (although unbelievably unlikely) that I didn't find the correct username for your account. I can't post a hand history from someone without their permission. You can post some yourself and I can verify them for you if you'd like.

[ QUOTE ]
why don't you explain to the forum why it took 2 1/2 months to come to a conclusion.

[/ QUOTE ]
I agree that's too long. I do know that we're expanding our fraud department and improving the tools we use to investigate. I hope that soon those sorts of investigations will take days, not weeks.

[ QUOTE ]
And yes I did play mostly 10/20 nl or 25/50 nl either you have the wrong account or your making stuff up as you do work for those lying theives afterall.

Maybe you could post a hand history of you playing 10/20? The tool I use is pretty accurate, so whatever username(s) I found for you definitely did not play a hand of 10/20 NL. To be fair, though, you didn't provide your username. So if there are other Eric Joneses from Stroudsburg, PA with two locked FTP accounts, I couldn't find them.

A successful player like yourself should have some type of tracking software that stores your hand history or you should at least have the hand histories stored on your computer.
