And I understand that people may not remember the events leading up to an accident, but I would think that hurling 60MPH into a median while your husband floats above the car would be at least somewhat memorable. |

[/ QUOTE ] From what I remember of the show, she was freaked out just before the crash because she didn't see him sitting next to her, but I'm pretty sure she didn't look up and see him flying. Why would you look up in a situation like that? Plus, when you have a traumatic injury you usually lose your short term memory so she probably wouldn't remember the last 5-10 seconds before the crash anyway. |

She went into surgery and came out paralyzed. We saw her in an earlier episode in a wheel chair.
El D, Yeah, no way is he dead yet. However, there's a likely subsequent battle between DL and Nikki, and then it's a toss up. I don't think there's any way Hiro or either Petrelli get bumped off (and we know that Peter has to survive to be elected). Ando is a candidate, but he's not exactly a hero. I don't think the writers have the guts to bump off Micah, and I don't think the Hatian or the Pixie are in any danger. I guess it could be the painter or the cop, but I didn't think the painter dies until much later, when he gets killed by Sylar. |

I think that red-headed waitress is amazingly beautiful. I don't know what it is about her, but wow.
Good episode. |

I really don't know who will get killed off. Feels like in all the sidestories, there is too much development to be had in most of the stories. One of the obvious choices is DL/Nikki (DL too obvious IMO, between the two my money is on Nikki, maybe they might even cop out and have one of nikki's personalities die). Aside from that, my other guess is maybe the younger Petrelli has another standoff against sylar and dies?

Here are some thoughts I had while watching:
1. Nikki, DL, and Micah, while mingling a little bit with a couple heroes, have not yet been included in the bigger storyline of the nuke in NY. I am extremely curious how they will be, if they will be. 2. I have a feeling the 1st season will end without any kind of answer for the nuke in NY. This will either be the show's genius or demise. I have a bad feeling that if they keep trying to string it out and string it out, they will lose viewers. 3. Anyone else think taking a 3-4 week break over the holidays is a bad idea? I do. 4. This EP was really good for people who like character development more than action. In fact, this episode reminded me a lot of the kind of pacing the last season of Sopranos had. Some people hate it because it's "boring" but I love it because it's not. 5. I hope and pray that there will be some sort of clear, powerful villian. That is the classic superhero set up. What I hope and pray for even more is a scene with all the heroes gathered together about to fight the powerful villian. Imagine Peter Petrelli with ALL THE FREAKING POWERS! |

[/ QUOTE ] Well, have you watched all the episodes? Sylar seems to fit perfectly to your villain description. I mean, that guy is a badass. He is one of the more interesting villain I have seen in a long time. As for the superhero gathering, I agree, we can only hope. |
