I wouldn't call the play "terrible." The STT format is one where well-established pros have demonstrated that most of them have no clue how to play. Phil Gordon seemed to understand the basics. The bubble play was ugly though.

I don't expect any inteligent commentary on a poker event any more than I expect it durning a baseball game. They aren't there to tell a STT expert anything he doesn't already know, or even talk on his level. They are there to fill the dead air created when Toto Leonedis is deciding to open-muck A7 three-handed.
