Any recommendations for Jamaican excursions?

My GF is insisting we do the tour of Bob Marley's house.


The cruise will have several options for you to choose from once you get there (including stuff like scuba-diving, deep-sea fishing, para-sailing, stuff like that I'm sure).

You might be much better making your arrangements for this stuff way ahead of time though (or it might not matter) as I don't know how quickly the other things fill up.

For those of you who are going to arrive down in Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday, where are you staying? I'm looking for recommendations for cheap, reasonable hotels/motels close to the pier and in proximity of bars and whatever nightlife there is in Ft. Lauderdale the night before. Microbob, maybe you can help with this since you were there last year. Thanks.

last yr's cruise departed out of San Diego so I can't help with this.

We are flying down early on Sunday morning.

I will be staying for a couple of days AFTER the cruise though as we both have good friends in that area we want to visit...so I'm interested in hotel recommendations as well.


Since I think it's spring break time for many college I can gaurantee that beach-hotels won't be terribly cheap.
