I know Sam likes to gun too, but he is much smarter with the ball.

[/ QUOTE ]

He's also better at gunning.

I have never been a Cassell fan. There is a reason he has floated around so much, and its because he's just such a jackass.

I'm pretty sure if I won a "spend a day with an NBA player" contest, Sam I Am would be near the top of my list. C'mon he does the big nuts dance.

He's got the same personal qualities as someone like Payton (another fav of mine)... just a small dude with a huge mouth and a ton of swagger. I love it.

Also, everywhere he goes the team competes.

[/ QUOTE ] never thought about this but, yeah, they are basically the same. Gary has had the better career though.

GP might very well be my favorite player of all time. He was amazing. Wish he would've hung it up this year. He looks awful.

I went to one Celtics game when he played for them. It was against the Suns. Some foul got called off the ball as GP was setting up the offsense, and Amare started mouthing off to another Celtic (probably Blount). GP got RIGHT in Amare's face and told him to back off while doing that side-to-side head swivle thing he does. It was sooo awesome. I was gleeful like a schoolgirl.

Watching the beginning of the Celtics-Pistons game now.

This is the first game we've had a dance team. Doesn't feel right. It's too "Showtime" for the parquet.

I couldn't tell for sure, but it did not appear that it was well-received by the crowd, either.

Alright, let's go C's!

Celtics have Detroit tonight, then a back-to-back road game in Washington tomorrow night.

Looking at an 0-3 start, baby!!!

Early favorites for::

Please. Our team lost its 2nd best offensive option by having a 2nd year player go down. We're starting the worst top 5 pick in a decade. And we got the season off to a great start by going down 19-2 against one of the 5 worst teams in the NBA.

If the Hawks don't have the #1 pick locked down, it will a huge surprise.

Sucks for the Suns then - I can't remember how many more seasons the Hawks have their #1 picks protected (top 3 only), nor can I recall but I think they got two in the Joe Johnson deal. It may take awhile but time will tell just how lopsided that trade ends up being.
