Those people make a decision to sit down and gamble knowing full well they could lose, it's inherent in gambling. It's their responsibility to stop when they lose X amount, it's their responsibility not to sit at the table with rent money, not ours. You can't make yourself responsible for other peoples decisions or try to save them from every mistake.

Should Blizzard stop making World of Warcraft because some people can't handle it and get so addicted that it harms their lives? Despite the fact that most of the player base loves the game and is entirely capable of not having that problem? It's much the same thing. After all, time is money.
