Default Re: JET SET SHUT DOWN 5 MINUTES AGO ALERT

Sorry for the hijack, but does anyone know of an email address to contact Jetset that stands a chance of working? I didn't realize the site was shutting down, and I do believe I have an old address for my account. If they actually do send out bank drafts, I can't see myself getting one now.

Thanks.

JetSetPoker shall remit remaining balances via cheque. Please respond to [email protected] and provide your accurate name and mailing address to initiate the cheque disbursement process.

A player emailed me that they traced the IP address of the server and it was hosted in the US. I looked it up and it shows as hosted in Malta. Doesn't a room in Malta have to be licensed by the LGA? Has anyone owed money tried to contact them or am I way off here?

Well I remember seeing where they were located on their website awhile ago, but I can't remember where it was. I ran across this thread:

http://groups.google.sc/group/rec.gambli...=raot&hl=en

Bill Ricardi about half way down says they were owned by Thramo in Malta and they are regulated by the some gaming commission (he gives a link).

I can't vouch for any of it though.

The software was fairly good and I liked it. Interface was also very good. I haven't received any answers to my constant e-mails nor did they send me any e-mail on what will happen to the monies on deposit with them. I sure hope they do the right thing. Bcraneop2001-what would your intentions be if you bought the software and domain and would you accept USA players?

[/ QUOTE ]

Due to Non Disclosure and Non Compete(s) that I signed, I cannot go into details, however, I would accept US players.

If you are that close to the owners can you please tell the rest of us who have money "stuck" at jet set if we will ever see the light of day? At their web site they have NOTHING at all telling people they will send the money via check or any other way. They don't talk about monies that were left in accounts. This isn't a good sign. You should realize that since they didn't have a big base to begin with...if they didn't give the money back the new owner would have very few customers.

I have no idea who the owners of Jetsetpoker are. I emailed them in refrence to purchasing the site(emailed friday afternoon CST USA) and haven't recieved a reply. I emailed to like 5 email accounts and only one was bounced back. I just want the script, the site will be re-designed and not look like jsp at all. I have no idea if they intend to repay or not. I did hear from someone on JSP that jetset's bank accounts were frozen. No idea if that's true or not.

It would be nice if someone had a phone number for them so I could contact them to purchase the software. If you do please pm me here.

Thanks,

Jet Set never did have a phone number. They also accepted deposits right till the end. 1 more fact is they never mentioned about money left in players' accounts. That all adds up to ????????? yea I hate to say it.
