People like Nolan Dolla or Lee Jones or whoever may very well resign, that doesnt mean pokerstars will.

[/ QUOTE ]

My gut feeling is that we'll see a lot more people - like Lee Jones - working for "PokerStars.NET", and a lot less working for "PokerStars.COM".

I did take all of my money out of my accounts.

[/ QUOTE ]

Did you do this because we might have trouble getting it out if we wait? Should we all do this asap or what?

[/ QUOTE ]

I doubt there's going to be a huge rush, or that Neteller is going to go bankrupt or anything, but since I've imposed a poker vacation for myself in October anyway, I figured, why wait? I'll get my money back into my own hands, keep an eye out and see what develops.

Default The big question for MTT pros: Why not consider moving ?

One question I must ask all the big baller MTT superstars: Why don't you move to the Carribbean or Canada so you can continue playing online poker? The beautiful thing about online poker is all you need is an internet connection and a computer to play and you're ready to go.

I know it's hard to leave your friends and home country but it isn't so bad, Canada offers every comfort you have in the US and if you are afraid of the cold then simply move to Vancouver where it's basically the same weather as Seattle.

Or why not just move to the Bahamas or another carribbean island and live in a tax free existence? This ain't the end of the world for you guys by any means and posts from P5'er #1 ranked player BodogAri is a big alarmist to say the least (http://bodogari.blogspot.com/).

You MTT superstars who have made poker a career for the past few years and been so successful would be too premature to leave such a +EV situation so easily which was built upon years of work and sacrifice. It would be too sad to see you guys leave. I really hope some of you thinking of quitting instead considers a move across the border and play in countries where they still consider what citizens do in their home's is their own business.

Caldarooni, we have a conservative government in Canada, and we're as prosperous as ever with all the natural resources boom. Canada is in a good position.

You know, most places in Canada are pretty easy about full body contact in strip clubs. Hookers list themselves in the Yellow damn Pages, FFS! We even have beer that tastes good!
