And onto another mini-hijack, Are all of you aware that the "southern style chicken sandwhich/biscuit" from Mcd's is a BLATANT rip-off of Chick-Fil-A's signature items?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes. I tried one when they first were introduced, well before commercials aired and couldn't believe it. It's pretty good, though, and definitely a fine option on Sundays or when a Chick-Fil-A is not nearby. Chick-Fil-A's is better, though.

By the way, the chicken, egg, and cheese on a multi-grain bagel at Chick-Fil-A is hands down the best fast food breakfast item ever made. Hands down. I REALLY wish this was available all day.

It wasn't until I moved to the west coast that I heard of ever using a bird meat on egg sandwiches. Here people get turkey in their breakfast burritos. Yours is the first I've heard of using chicken. I've never heard of that McD's item.

AWESOME.

They need to make an option to sub hashbrowns for fries. God, I'd eat their hashbrowns all day.

If this goes down, my life expectency will decrease from 44 to 39 due to all of the Sausage McMuffins/Hash Browns consumed in the next 8 years.

[/ QUOTE ]

These are, of course, the only items worth ordering along with the sausage biscuit.

I wish Chik-fil-A was open Sundays

[/ QUOTE ]
Seriously, this is costing them millions of dollars, right? Assuming they've got a positive cash flow per hours open, losing an entire day just intuitively seems like a horrible, horrible business decision.

I've heard the owners are religious and so its a Christian thing, but I can't understand it at all. Partially because I'm not religious and partially because my morals can be bought for the right price.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I agree. This is absolutely ridiculous, considering that Sunday is one of the most busy days for fast food places.

God I would love this. I wish BK would do it too, because their Croissantwiches are AMAZING.

[/ QUOTE ]

Funny thing is you can get a hamburger in the morning BK. Why they don't serve breakfest at other times I don;t understand.

All,

I don't eat fast food anymore. This may get me back in the fold.

note: mcdonald's biscuit products have absurd amounts of trans fat (5g per). it looks like mcgriddles are a better move if they're good.
