Maybe I missed something, but can someone explain this to me...

I think the hand was Jett vs. Vinh - I believe VV had K4s, and was running a bluff. Jett had top pair on the turn with an A9 in her hand, and I thought the percentages put VV at 0% on the turn, when a K on the river would have won it for him.

I am not 100% sure on the details, but I remember looking at the 0% and then trying to look at the board and understand why a K on the river wouldn't win it for him. there was no straight to be make with the K for Jett or anything.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it was because Griffin had just folded, and he had KQ. The percentages hadn't updated to reflect his fold yet. I think I'm remembering the right hand.

EDIT: Nope. I was thinking of the hand near the end where Ramdin had K4, VV had 95, and the board was J258. Griffin had just folded KQ, and Ramdin was still showing 0% as he was deciding whether to call.

Lol, I like that when JC Tran has QQ and is re-raised by Jett's AKs and the flop comes J96 with two spades the announcers say it's a great flop for Tran. Hands he is beating that Jett would re-raise him with AK(if it is AsKs then he is even money) and TT. Hands he is losing to : AA,KK,JJ,99. These announcers blow.

[/ QUOTE ]

You should just fold QQ preflop then, since apparently there are no good flops for it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm just saying because of Jett's tightness, she is probably only re-raising with AA,KK,QQ,JJ,TT, AK and maybe AQ. On that flop QQ is losing to another hand JJ so I don't think it's as great a flop for QQ as 278 would be. Of course it's much better than a flop of AKJ or something.

They piped in canned crowd noise for the RABBIT CAM. What the hell were they thinking?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I thought i was going crazy. Do the producers really think its believable that a whole crowd of people would be watching the 25/50 blind level of a huge multi-table tourny, let alone applauding a rabbit cam? And how exactly is a "live crowd" supposed to see the rabbit cam card anyway?

[/ QUOTE ]

You should have seen the crowd there for this year's Shooting Stars. Packed from before the start. Some players were late to the tables because they continued to sign autographs and take pictures. But yeah, not on the rabbit cam.

Is this the first broadcast of this tournament? It happened over a year ago for crying out loud.

I have a question... does anyone know if making a raise puts the pressure on your opponent? Thanks in advance.

What I'm REALLY wondering is if Seif and Corboy like this play...

Bumping for tonight's show.

When did this trend start of players looking for a x-ball?

Another observation, Greg Raymer's PokerStars logo is blurred, but Dan Goldman's PS logo is there for everyone to see.

It's there, then it's not there. Interesting editing going on here. (Referring to the hand with Fischman.)
