I reraised the river with the sucker str8. After not even seeing that I didn't have the nuts. I had been playing way too long and was very tired. That was my last hand.
I'm just glad it was limit. |

Sitting to budgstud's left in a great Crazy Pineapple 8/b with a half kill at the Wynn, I called him down heads up all the way with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on a board of A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
In my defense there were like three drinks in my lap and my sunglasses had recently been crushed so I was totally devastated NT |

Board ends up Q-8-9-3-3, no flush possible. First guy checks. Second guy checks. I check behind. First guy shows A-9. Second guy shows A-9. I muck 9-8. [/ QUOTE ] Well played Sir. |

This reminds me of when I used to "flop two pair" and figure my hand must be best, with a pair on the board. Man I was dumb.

I'll add mine:
$6-$12 at Soaring Eagle in Mt. Pleasant, MI. I have AQ on the button. UTG raises, motorcycle man calls, I 3-bet. They call. Flop comes 773. UTG bets, motorcycle man raises, I fold. Turn is A, UTG check, motorcycle man bets, river 2, UTG check, motorcycle man bets, UTG calls, motorcycle man shows 77 for quad sevens. -J |

Caesars IN: I have AQ, board is Q97T2. It was HU between myself and another guy. I bet the river, he thinks for a minute, calls and asks "Do you have the Q?" I say yes and show him AQ. He sighs and says "I was affraid of that" shows me pocket KK and mucks his cards. Uh, what? [/ QUOTE ]You have top pair with an Ace kicker. His pair only has a Q kicker. Duh. |

[ QUOTE ] I saw a 20/40 hand at Borgata, set over set, (Qs and Ts) go 2 bets before the flop, 1 on the flop, 2 on the turn, and 1 on the river. Three ways. [/ QUOTE ] Similar, 10/20 game the night before WSOP ME Day 1 at the Rio this past year... One raise preflop, 3 players. Flop comes Q-T-6. Bet, raise, call, call. Turn comes a J. Bet, call, call. River 3. No flush on board. Bet, call, call. QQ, TT, 66. Set over set over set. I sat there dumbfounded, got up, and left to go to the Borgata. [/ QUOTE ] My first casino poker session ever: (hadn't played online yet either) 1-3 spread limit at Excalibur I have KK in mid-position, I limp. 92 other limpers, BB raises, everyone calls. Flop xJKr BB bets 3, I call, some people fold Turn Tr, BB bets 3, I call, everyone else folds River x, BB bets 3, I call He shows JJ I probably wasn't even too sure that I won until I flipped my cards up and the dealer shipped me the pot. |

1/2NL at MGM
Three players still in on river. Board is unpaired with three diamonds. First player bets 1/2ish pot, second player calls and flips up his hand not realizing there was another player in. Last player stares at the hand when the dealer lets the second player know that there is still action behind him. Second player gets embarrased and re-covers his hand and looks at the last player to see what he will do. Last player snickers and says "Well, I'm all-in". First player calls all-in, second player, who has them both covered also calls and (re)tables AdKd and drags the pot. |

6-12 Omaha today. I'm running over the table for 45BB in an hour and a half. I just call a preflop raise with AAK3 double suited. Flop is all low cards with two spades giving me the nut flush draw so I call along with five others. No spade on turn, I call again. On the river no spade another low card and some guy bets an obvious straight, she calls. I show my hand to my neighbor. "Aces no good" I tell him. He shakes his head in sympathy.
Straight wins pot and they start working through their hands to figure out who has the low. My neighbor says "he does" pointing at me and only then seeing my cards in the muck. I slap my head. The entire table smiles. |
