4 are pretty solid although I might have gone after another RB before Boldin. Gates isn't that much of a stretch but after looking at the SD team that showed up on Monday, I'm not sure enough balls will go his way. I like the Chester Taylor pick.

I wouldn't have gotten Vick that early. Also you might have gone to get another WR before you got Hasselback although he is a solid pick. Again, you already have Gates, why on earth would you need Cooley although it's not a horrible pick for the round. Personally since you got Gates, either try to move Cooley for another WR or package Cooley and let's say Coles for a better WR. Mike Bell should be solid but he hurt his hand. Jenkins looks to be decent this year but it's hard to trust Vick's arm, so your going to see alot of weeks with 0 TDs for Jenkins although this was a latter pick. Dillon again is kinda solid but Moreney looks to be the back of the future for this team.

I give you a C+/B-, good especially for your first draft but I would never go with another early 2nd QB as you did. It's a waste. Hasselback should play all the weeks and when he's out, you can easily get a WW player of equal stature to Vick. Now that you do have Vick, I guess I'd keep him or try to ship him out but his value isn't that high although he did have a good week 1.

Thanks a lot.

The reasoning for picking Cooley was simply that I felt my team was already okay and that I wanted to defend against being in the position where people could force me to trade on injury. I'm sure that further down the line I will see the error of that reasoning.

I guess I'll have to hope Vick has a good week two and then try to move him out.

Thanks again for your time.

kyro,

i suspect gruden will really work harder to establish the run against atlanta given what happened vs. baltimore. caddy is overrated but good, and i wouldn't be surprised if he had a decent game. that said i'm starting frank gore over him so meh.

[/ QUOTE ]

If I had Gore, I'd start him too over Williams, too. I have no idea how I didn't get him in any of my leagues, considering I was planning on stealing him later in the draft.

I just traded McGahee and Coles for Randy Moss and DeShaun Foster. McGahee became pretty expendable after picking up Chester Taylor and I really don't think you'll be able to keep Moss down for long.

Anyone have opinions on who to start between Burress and Moss?

This week, I think you have to go with Burress. Burress against Philly is a much safer pick than Moss against Baltimore. I hope for Moss owners, the Oakland O-Line gets it back in gear or it's going to be a long year for anyone who owns Lamont or Randy.

After the first two weeks, their schedule let's up a little against Cleveland and SF, but then quickly stifens @ Denver, Pittsburgh, @ Seattle and then Denver again. Week 12 they of course play SD again. Later in the year he looks much safer but for many weeks I'd really be worried about Moss especially if they use San Diego's formula to team them a new one.

Starting RB's :

Dunn vs TB
Edge vs SEA

Bench :

Deuce vs GB
Addai vs HOU

Not exactly a great first outing for Edge, although he still got a respectable number of points. He's going against Seattle next week. Do I consider sitting him down for one of my bench RB's, who will split carries but both are playing against weak teams?

Iggy,

No, but I'd think about trading Edge while his value is high. I'm down on him this year and week 1 didn't change that.

I am thinking Plaxico, Gonzalez, and Coles. Mainly because Huard seemed to really key on Gonzalez when he came into the game, and Coles is the primary target for the Jets. I would think that Andre Johnson would probably get more balls than Moulds in the long run.

What do you think?

[/ QUOTE ]

Call me crazy, but I like Moulds. Indy is going to score and be up early in that game causing Houston to pretty much completely abandon the run. I wouldn't be surprised if Carr throws 35+ in the game.
