I think the Kaplan/Benza routines from the last two episodes have got to go. Painfully unfunny. [/ QUOTE ] I'd rather see one more hand, even if it's only everyone folding to a pre-flop raise. |

[/ QUOTE ] i agree with this completely. i'll look at the clock and see 5 mins left, and i know what they'll do is squeeze in 4 mins of eli elezra "agonizing" over a decision, then 1 minute of the AJ-Gabe routine, which i sometimes don't mind. but it'd still be pretty nice to just show another hand or two towards the end. doesn't have to be exciting, just a lil something. "Loc: pwning PartyGammon" good god. *avoiding backgammon blow-up* love the game but it doesn't love me. |

Grey seriously needs to buy some glasses or contacts.
The Juanda fold with 99 wasn't bad because Grey was still active behind him. If he calls and Grey pushes behind, JJ is going to feel pretty stupid. |

Elezra calling the re raise with KJ was horrible. he's playing like a total amateur paying off Lingdren like that.
the 37 2 pair hand against negreneau was also bad. whats up with that insta call? that was a lot of money to not even think about, before sticking your chips in. |

You may have noted that the second Juanda folded, the percentages changed to 57-43. [/ QUOTE ] Before Juanda folded the percentages on screen were Grey 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3% Greenstein A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 56% Juanda 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 1% The second Juanda folded, the percentages on the screen went to 52-47 in Grey's favor. |

What happened at the end there with Gabe Kaplan? Was he really pissed? I definitely heard him tell the other host to go [censored] himself. Was that for real or just bad acting? [/ QUOTE ] Are you (and the other poster) kidding? It was scripted. Duh. I mean honestly, was it that hard to see? Every show they start and end with a little song and dance routine. Please tell us you were kidding. |

[/ QUOTE ] Is my sarcasm meter broken? He "went on tilt" because AJ asked him what put him on tilt. [/ QUOTE ] No, your sarcasm meter is working. Those posters actually believed that Gabe went off on Benza. Hilarious. I wish I could get into a ring game with those 3. |

Negreanu's thought process during these hands is mind boggling. First, he announces out loud that he knows he's beat. Then, he starts to price himself into calling. Then, he thinks about the ton of hands that beat him. Finally, he announces out loud again that he doesn't know what EL has, and calls. He just cannot fold a hand anymore. It's a far cry from the laydowns he was making during wsop 2005.

Benza got his butt handed to him at the end of that episode, bs if that was scripted, i doubt it [/ QUOTE ] It was a simple demonstration of tilt to answer AJ's question. |

I believe laying down the straight shoulda been a much easier laydown than the FH vs. Gus's quads a few weeks ago. It is pretty sick how everyone keeps drawing out on Daniel though - but I guess with Daniel in the hands now, the implied odds are through the roof.
