I'm pretty sure it would have been a good idea to just try this on one of them first.

Well, I honestly had no idea what this looked like - so I googled it. I am sorry I did. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah. A lot of the pictures that I have seen are much worse than what mine look like. Currently, most of mine are the size of a pinhead. Two of them are about twice the size of a pinhead. Of course, they pick the most spectacular cases to take pictures of. [ QUOTE ] This broad should get boiled in something. [/ QUOTE ] Agreed. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] OMG. When the applicator touches skin, you can hear it sizzling. "Ssssssss". Three down, a few more to go. Edit: Well, not really three "down", as they won't go away immediately, but three that I've applied the Freeze Off to. [/ QUOTE ] dude, i think you should finish the job and then update us [/ QUOTE ] Well, I finished last night applying the Freeze Off to all the warts I could see. Nothing much else to report yet; the skin is still a little bit swollen and red, and the warts are still there, albeit somewhat whiter than normal. I believe I actually missed two warts. There were two tiny dots that I wasn't sure if they were warts or not. Since I wasn't sure, I left them alone, but after looking at them this morning under better lighting, they do look like warts, so I will freeze them tonight. [/ QUOTE ] We're on the edges of our seats! |

[/ QUOTE ] We're on the edges of our seats! [/ QUOTE ] I just finished applying the Freeze Off to the two warts that I missed last night. I also just found another one right where the penile skin ends and the scrotal skin begins. I applied Freeze Off to it too; that one hurt probably the worst of all of them so far (because of the thinner scrotal skin, I'm assuming). I did notice that the warts that I froze yesterday appear to be turning a somewhat brownish color (they were about the same color as normal skin before I froze them). This is probably a very good thing, as I have heard of people freezing (or otherwise treating) their warts and then having them turn dark colored and fall off. We will see what happens in the next few days. |

Wow I didn't know Compound W or anybody else had some kind of freezing product. Or how it would work. I guess it's over the counter? [/ QUOTE ] Yes. Go here and you'll see a box that says Compound W Freeze Off. That is what I got. [ QUOTE ] The last time I had Compound W, it was a light acid that would just burn off the last layer or so of skin on the wart, and after what seemed like a long period of time and the eating away of plenty of non-wart skin too, maybe you would get rid of the wart. Kind of sucked that all the messing around there could actually spread warts if you weren't careful. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah - the one you're talking about contains salicylic acid. [ QUOTE ] By the way, BHT, which you can often see as a preservative in foods, supposedly has quite an effect on killing viruses when taken as capsules. It's effective on herpes, etc. Twinlabs sells it, and other vitamin companies do, too. It also helps keep your kitchen oils from going rancid, so it's not a bad thing to pop a capsule in your bottle of oil. Completely tasteless. It's not expensive at all. I'd try some if I were you. [/ QUOTE ] This is interesting; I'll investigate this. [ QUOTE ] Good luck on the rest of your warts. [/ QUOTE ] Thank you. |

hmm...
Maybe try getting a second opinion from a second urologist? Also, how much money are we talking about in order to get the laser surgery? --Dave |

[ QUOTE ]
It hurt, but it didn't really hurt as bad as I thought it would. It more stung than anything. Thankfully, I have no warts (that I can see anyway) on the head of my penis; they're all on the shaft skin. I don't think I would have been able to deal with freezing off any on the head. The ones near the circumcision scar hurt the worst; the ones further down didn't hurt all that much. [/ QUOTE ] Now, your avatar is pretty cool, but I think your location should read, "They're all on the shaft skin." |

You should know that you still may be able to transmit HPV even if you don't have visible warts. [/ QUOTE ] Yes, so please tell your future partners that you have them. Don't be a dick. |
