Hmm. Tough question. Much of what I'd like can't be done. I'd love to go back in time and play a lot more volleyball. My back is crippled by injuries now. I'd love to go back in time and flirt/date and enjoy my youth. At 37 and married (happily though), there are many things I'll never have the chance to do at this point. I'm beginning to understand what drives some people to a mid-life crisis though
Going forward though, I enjoy games and I'm a programmer, so I suppose I'd like to be wealthy enough not to work and just spend my time on gaming projects I like (something like www.brettspielwelt.info). Maybe play testing board games and writing software to simulate scenarios. Maybe leisure travelling. I never liked travel much, but as I've gotten older it appeals to me. I've spent most of my life not indulging in whims and focused on this or that. I suppose at this point what I'd love to be able to do is just relax and do whatever comes to mind for a whle. |

I'd want to be a world class chef and run a 4 star restaurant in a major US city.

[ QUOTE ]
I'd really like to make my living writing science fiction. I always have, since I was a kid. Fear of failure paralyzes me and prevents me trying. I keep telling myself that I'm going to get my act together and start writing again, but somehow I never have. It's fairly depressing. Mine's definitely possible:
1) get to divemaster PADI rating 2) get job teaching at *warm-water* dive locations 3) supplement diving income playing poker 4) travel and write about it. |
