i agree with both of you, i didnt mean to imply otherwise in my previous post.
my point is that the other players may not be as equanimous. as to your other point, party's cancellation policy is to give half the prize pool equally to those remaining and half based on chip count. policy |

Was there any mention on when we could expect to see money? [/ QUOTE ] not quite clear but the impression i got was that management was going to figure this out tomorrow. it was certainly a big priority for them, its not a small issue. |

But the sticking point is choosing the "those remaining" point. I think most of us think it's clearly at 752, when the results were clearly compromised. I get the impression that Party is reluctant to admit this (though I don't understand why) and wants to consider the actual cancellation point an hour and a half later (or whenever it was) the point at which to calculate the chop. -Z |

I've had my fair share of Party support horror stories, but I'd be shocked if they didn't make everyone whole on this out of the company's own pocket. They'll figure out how much everyone was entitled to at the point of disruption according to the cancellation plicy. And they'll pay people who earned less than that amount the difference. I wouldn't get too worked up over this until you give it a reasonable amount of time (end of the day tomorrow I'd say).

I'll wait until tomorrow and see if they've sent me a further reply. -Z |

my last information (from about 9.30 pm, 301 players left) is that one of the people of my table called the support. They told that it will be distributed as follows:
50% prize-pool among remaining player 50% prize-pool related to stack sizes of remaining players 15$-Rake will be rewarded anyway. Time-fram: within 24 hours The most important question, at what time they officially make the cut (first break-down with 750 players, 2nd with 450 or third with 301 they couldnt answer though.) I wrote party a mail to confirm this - no reaction till now. |
