being Mexican, ive grown up eating avocados. heres some tips:
1. in a sandwich, try turkey w/ bacon. turkey and avocado are spendid together with mayo/miracle whip 2. only use fresh limes/lemons (i prefer limes) when making guacomole 3. avocados can be slimy and coat things well, therefore, try it in a pasta. Penne pasta with a sauce consisting of avocados, cream, cilantro, and lime juice (make the sauce before hand and let it thicken) pour the sauce over the pasta and top with mozzarella cheese, its fantastic 4. cut the avocados in pieces and bread it and deep fry it. then dip it sour cream with salt, its an amazing little snack 5. avocados should be soft but not too soft, able to give it a lil squeeze 6. also try pieces of avocado in anywhere from burritos, tacos, and even in the morning on egg sandwiches. 7. also if you like spanish rice or white rice w/ cilantro, try little pieces of avocado in with the side dish with boiled and cut up pieces of carrot and peas |

IL,
That pasta sounds great, never would have considered avocado with pasta, thanks for the idea! Here's a sandwich I've mentioned here before that your #1 reminded me of: Brickhouse Melt Brickhouse Melt $7.50 Turkey & Bacon grilled on Multi-grain bread with Tomatoes, Avocados, Sprouts, Swiss & Cheddar cheese |

I routinely have that sandwich but i make it on my own. i dont know how avocado would go with cheddar cheese tho, but it sounds good |
