Just because it's expensive doesn't make it a good school. From my experience (grew up in Des Moines and took classes at Drake as a senior in HS) Drake is a where you go if mommy and daddy have money and you weren't smart enough to get into an Ivy or any other prestigious school. The academic departments at drake are all less dignified than their counterparts at either Iowa, ISU, or UNI.
